GOAT APP legit?

The 10-15% discount they try to pressure sellers into for "flaws" can add up to a lot of easy money for GOAT if they pocket it. Call me paranoid and I will call you a sheep. **** like this happens all the time across all forms of business.
Discount is given to the buyer. I have openly criticized GOAT many times before but I'm not going to accuse them of fraudulently requesting discounts on behalf of the buyer and then pocketing the discount for themselves instead without legitimate proof.

Besides, I've never given 10-15% discounts before. I always choose 5% at most. If the buyer cancels, then they cancel. Fortunately, GOAT's authenticators have been more relaxed with nitpicking minor issues as of late.

I purchased 11s bred & gammas from goat both brand new and transaction was excellent. Remember no business is perfect, as long goat took care of it that's all it matters.

just got my wc88 from goat. i just posted up a legit check on them. i hope some one can check them out for me.

If Goat verified them, rest easy. That's better than anything you're going to get from a poster online.
haha true. thanks man. i just seen that 98% video and it got me paranoid. you think I'm good if i bought a pair off of stock x also? i bought a pair of bred 11 sz.9.5 compared to my size 10. i just notice 3 different things. one is the production date, two the left shoe had black stitching underneath the insoles while the right and my size 10 has a grayish stitching, third is the cm on the 9.5 is less bold than my sz.10...

Without even looking at them I can say there's a 99.99% chance you're good. Don't get me wrong, it's humans looking at them so errors do happen but they are few and very far between.

I guess here is the best place to post this. Without giving away too much, a buddy was at one of StockX/Goat recently for business and he was told they received 1,400 pairs of shoes just that one day. That's a lot of freaking shoes.

and GOAT taking a day or two (during a slow season) to authentic is impressive IMO. My shoes were authenticated the same day the last time I shipped out. I remember there was a fuss during the holidays with their end on authenticating.

You have proof of this?
Search this thread. I'm sure you'll find a few testimonies. It's plausible but I doubt the company as a whole would do something like that. If anything, it may be a few bad apples trying to pocket side money.

I've purchased from GOAT before where I was offered a discount because of an issue. Doubt that will do anything to change the mind of the conspiracy theorists though.

I've sold close to 70 shoes now and all kinds of cheap and expensive ones.

Only been asked to discount a buyer twice which I think I did 5% both times, one was denied the other was accepted

GOAT is legit people these guys aren't out to make up **** to take your money  they have been pretty good as of late with the verification crap and not as picky as before with factory flaws

Anyone have issues after cashing out on goat to paypal and no money in account? I usually get the funds instantly.

So I just got an "order confirmation" from GOAT today. However, it says that the shoes were already delivered to GOAT. Is this one of their consignment pairs? Also I'm very surprised because I put a relatively lowball offer of $250 on the 2016 Breds. I thought they were easily selling for 300+, even on GOAT? Anybody had this happen?

I'm having a huge issue with Goat right now. I want others to know because I don't want anybody else making the same mistake I did. First thing I want to say is that I've sold more then 10 used shoes on goat and never had a issue with selling so thats a good thing. Now I have bought maybe about 10 shoes and at least 3/4 of them I had issues. I can prove everything I'm saying so if you guys want prove I can prove it. I bought the air jordan 12 french blue and there was a huge flaw and goat let me return them and I didn't have to pay for shipping which was nice. Then I purchased the air jordan 12 flu games and their was a huge chunk of red missing. Now it could be Nike fault or the seller didn't take care of the shoe properly but I showed them to goat and they let me return them for free. I didn't take the shipping loss which was nice. Recently about 2 months ago I bought the chicago 1s and the toe box is not centered. It looks bad. I contacted goat and they said its can happen because they said that the chicago 1s was mass produced. I believed them and I wore them and that was my biggest mistake. I've worn them few times and more then two times I had to prove to people that I bought them from Goat and that they are authentic. Its so embarrassing when people think your wearing fake shoes. So recently I bought 3 pairs of 1s from Sole supremacy. Two of them are amazing quality nothing is wrong with the toe box. The third pair is still being delivered to me but I have high hopes that it will be nice just as these other 1s I got from Sole supremacy. I actually paid more money  buying from Sole supremacy but it was worth it because the shoes don't have  flaws like the Chicago 1s I bought from goat. The toe box is not messed up which is nice. So now I'm now in a situation where I'm scared to buy from goat because I truly believe people might be selling flawed shoes on goat or shoes that you know other big companies might not accept. I would rather pay more money for good quality shoes instead of saving $30 or $50. The Chicago 1s on sole supremacy are $450 and I payed $390 from goat. I should've just paid the $60 more and Im almost 100% sure sole supremacy wouldn't sell me a shoe where the toe box is not centered. I'm honestly thinking about never buying from goat and just sticking with sole supremacy or flight club. I purchased only 1 shoe from flight club and it has no flaws.  Don't count me wrong some shoes are going to have flaws not every shoe is perfect. Actually maybe no shoe is who knows. But I'm so mad because not once did Goat email me or anything asking me if its okay that they ship out these shoes even tho it has a huge flaw. IM thinking about never ever buying from goat again.  To me its not about the price like say if goat said they will give me a discount well I dont want a discount because I like to wear my shoes. I want my shoes to look good not fake. If I have  choice between paying $300 for a shoe that is flawed vs $400 for a shoe that is not flawed or at least not noticeable I'm going to choose the $400 shoe every time. Thats the type of person I am. Last Saturday I doubled up on Royals and there is nothing wrong with the toe box of the royal 1s.  I just wished that goat emails people and lets them know if a shoe has a huge flaw. I started buying shoes from goat to save money because I noticed the prices are cheaper but if they are going to have flaws id rather just pay a little more and get shoes with no flaws. Has anyone else bought a pair of 1s from goat and the toe box wasn't centered? I can back up everything I'm saying...

If you ordered today and got confirmation that they were authenticated the same day they may be sending you a pair that was sent back by someone that returned it. It doesn't necessarily mean that they are flawed. Why don't you contact GOAT if you have concerns. Anytime I have a question I hit them up and they answer pretty quick.

I didn't even think about returned pairs. Thanks for that. Just thought it was odd. Although I wonder how they deal with selling  pairs that are returned since they already cash out the seller by that point. Seems strange also since my offer was just really low as the next highest offer showing is 360 for my size.

In case anyone is interested, here is the exact language in the email:

"Your sneakers have been pre-authenticated by our specialist to ensure authenticity and will be shipped directly from GOAT."

Not really bothered by it, again, just curious.
