GOAT APP legit?

How does buying used shoes work out? I can see pics of used shoes and normally with eBay you can ask for more detailed pics to see condition. Is there anyway to communicate with the seller of used shoes through the app?

I actually ask Goat about this and their reply was currently they don't have this function for selller and buyer to communicate.

Thanks. I am looking at gamma 11s and since they are such dark shoes it's hard to see condition in the picture. I assume they will fix this communication problem in the future. Haven't bought on the goat yet but plan to

LOL... I'm looking at the 11 Gamma as well.

They require the seller to take at least  7 pictures of the shoe before it's listed. You can add more as a seller. I also don't think the communication between buyer and seller is as problematic as you think. GOAT is for lack of a better term "middle man". If they inspect the shoes and they're fake or misrepresented, that person is kicked off GOAT and you get refunded. You're protected.

The concern i had was the picture provided wasn't clear and there was no way to request for better pics.
And used shoes are no refundable.

contact GOAT and ask them to contact the seller and request additional pics

I did and they their reply was all pictures are clear and can be zoomed In for closer viewing. But they did say that they are looking into adding the feature where buyer can communicate to sellers.

I just started selling on goat a little over a week ago. Waited around 2 weeks and got tired of waiting so I emailed them. I have over 3k feedback on eBay and it still took a while so I think they are extremely busy. The whole process has been very smooth so far but the only thing I'm not happy about is its been over 58 hours now since they received my shoes and still not authenticated. Maybe they are just very busy. The one option I really like is that instead of getting a 3% Paypal fee they can direct deposit into your bank acct. I've been approved to sell for 6 days and I've sold 3 pairs. I think I got more on goat than eBay would have brought. Plus no shipping cost and no Paypal fee.

On a separate note I have several pairs listed if someone sends an offer how do I know? I do not see offers anywhere from a sellers standpoint.

I am now on day 4 of a pair not getting authenticated once in their hands. Another pair I shipped was authenticated in less than an hour. Feeling frustrated.

Odd, I think every single time unless around the holidays I've been paid the same day they receive my shoes.

I wouldn't worry about it though but I agree quite odd

I've shipped 4 pairs so far. 3 pairs have been delivered. 2 pairs paid immediately basically but the pair I mentioned still has not been paid yet. If they were fake that would make sense but they are legit. I'm not going to let this 1 case bother me but I hope it gets taken care of soon. Now with a 3 day weekend I will have to wait even longer. I shipped a pair of ds moonrocks yesterday thinking they would have paid for the Concords by now. Guess I really wish there was better communication when it's taken 4 days on this pair now.

Ordered a pair, the seller confirmed but never sent the shoes so after 4 days (and an email) they refunded my money. Would have been disappointed if I hadnt found the shoes for retail.
