GOAT APP legit?

I just started selling on goat a little over a week ago. Waited around 2 weeks and got tired of waiting so I emailed them. I have over 3k feedback on eBay and it still took a while so I think they are extremely busy. The whole process has been very smooth so far but the only thing I'm not happy about is its been over 58 hours now since they received my shoes and still not authenticated. Maybe they are just very busy. The one option I really like is that instead of getting a 3% Paypal fee they can direct deposit into your bank acct. I've been approved to sell for 6 days and I've sold 3 pairs. I think I got more on goat than eBay would have brought. Plus no shipping cost and no Paypal fee.

This happened to me and after about 3 or 4 days GOAT emailed saying that my shoes were not DS like I listed so they could not sell them but I knew that they were. That was the first issue I had with them after selling about 10 pair through GOAT

When a "last sale" shows up on a shoe I've been watching , is it in that particular size or is it any size that has been sold?

goat emailed me saying i sold an item and to confirm, but the confirmation hasnt shown up. anyone know how long it usually takes? item was sold 16 hours ago.

it isnt showing up in my "need to confirm". thats the issue. i checked, and its also still for sale. so not sure why goat would send me a SOLD email.

Order might have been canceled by the buyer, I had that happen once. When i got a sold email but the buyer had canceled.

Not sure about your situation, would be bet to contact them, they answer rather quickly

So how long do you have after the buyers purchase to mail the shoes out?

I travel for a couple of days at a time some months/....

So I finally found out why my pair has taken so long. Seems like they could of told me right away. There was glue on the insole that I did not even notice. Probably from a store sticker like they put on the insole with price if I had to guess. This is the pic they sent me. To be honest I could tell the shoe was good and didn't even think to look at this. I guess it's good they are being that picky. They could have told me but instead they told me they would be authenticated by end of day Thursday and I got this email yesterday.

Or could have been from a sticker similar to this.
View media item 2049642I never would have thought things like this to be issues. Wasn't even noticeable to me. Guess I'll look more into them when I get them back. Here is the email I got which I'm basically posting to show you guys how detailed they are being and if your shoes have any flaws to put it in the 40 character defects spot they give. Otherwise the shoes will be coming back.

Thank god they didn't make you pay for back shipping, I would be upset.

as long as they don't count it as a strike against me I'm happy. Not like I sent them fakes. But if we all think about the Concords and how bad the quality control was sounds like they shouldn't accept a lot of Jordan's that we got from jb in the last several years. I learned from this and going to make notes on the other stuff I have listed. I have over 3k feeback on eBay already but I like about goat is the fact a customer can not receive a shoe and say they were sent fakes and start a dispute. On my eBay listings when I list yeezys I make sure to take a pic of upc po # on box and rage and I type it out in my listing. With my feedback and reputation on eBay and the fact I pay around $2k-$3k a month in fees I know they will back me since they know of the unhonest customers on eBay. Don't really want to sell yeezys on goat because there are so many pairs and you have to compete against the other sellers. On eBay probably 90% of them are fakes so my feedback, tagged pics and having this as my pic they see when scrolling down the list should automatically let them know my pair is legit.

Sold 6 shoes without any issues and completely cashed out. However, apparently the Carmines I sold had an ink stain on the midsole that I did not notice. Not sure how as I thoroughly inspected the shoe before it went out. Feel like GOAT accidentally caused it but who knows. Anyways, buyer wanted $15 discount for it and I didn't want to go through the hassle so just said okay. Much better service than ebay could ever offer.

Summeroflove that looks like a tissue paper stain. A lot of 11s get it on the sole. I've taken my other 11s down now so I can inspect them better. But still they only give 40 characters which is about 7 words with spacing. Maybe less. I wish they would have given me the option to discount a little instead of getting them back and relisting them. I'm going to list them for the same price still and just mention it.

Yeah, I figured it's something like that. Easy to clean right? I asked whether GOAT will take the $15 off the original sale price or my profit. Feel like the original price the buyer paid is more fair. Otherwise, GOAT is keeping the safe profit and just lose $15 straight.

Anybody else having trouble with taking pics? Using their camera with the sneaker outline, I click the snap button and nada

10 for 10 on seamless transactions. annoyed they're charging a fee on direct deposit cash outs and adding $5 for shipping. was a great method to sell shoes now just a good method.

I'm just wondering if these guys are really making money with this. It seems like such a good deal.
How sure are they the shoes are 100% legit? There may be AAA Grade fakes that can fool most people, unless they have every rare models so they can compare side by side, chances are they might misverify a few really good Fakes.

Also i believe this verification process takes lots of time, compare photo, compare shoe, check it's original, and not forget about unpacking the shoe for verification, repack them to ship out...

It's something like Rakuten where seller ships the item to Rakuten & Rakuten ships item to buyer, once buyer receives item payment is released to seller, except they don't open up the packages & verify so it could be a box of stones you're getting.

very tedious service for 9.5% commission, hardly worth it. ebay just let the bots do the work and get 10% off final sales price & Shipping fee, and paypal another 3-4%.

Yeah, I don't like that they are adding charges and more fees now. Will be just like eBay. :smh:
