Soulja was that dude who you laughed at, but every now and again you'd be like "damn, that wasn't half bad actually..."
I respected his grind especially in his early days, cause he was just trying to have fun....
From a business perspective, I respect the kid highly cause of how he completely finessed social media into getting money at such a young age. That wasn't by accident...he had a plan.

My point is that dj esco / metro boomin and the rest of that tm808 mafia crew are more deserving than future and should get more recognition....at the very least soulja makes his own beats ....and his bars are still better than the likes of chief keef for examples sake . Except for love no thotties / kobe / love sosa (which should be credited to young chop) a lot of chief keef music is cringeworthy....i legit CANNOT understand how that song faneto is getting the respect it has like fam....people just have to truly believe he is "real" in order to support a song like that
