Do you really care if white ppl use the "N-Word"

Is it just me or has NT been getting an influx of klansmen lately? Like the past year or so.
Or at least dudes are being more blatant with it.

Yes I have a problem with it.

I'm not one of those who thinks no one should say it but I also don't say it that much casually.

I cringe when other black folks use it in public regardless if it's in mixed company.

I use it sometimes within my close groups of friends and that's it.

I respect the older generation who had to deal with the -er much more often than today and their beliefs that no one should say it

I mean I think we've all used the word back in my HS days and even college sporadically. I never use the word in public though and haven't used it in years.

But then again I grew up in NYC where everyone says it. Hispanics, blacks, whites, and even Asians. Never really even heard people being called out on it. Plus I'm sure we all say it when we sing along to a hip hop song.

I suggest you log off permanently and educate yourself on the unfair struggle that minorities, particularly blacks, face in the job market. There are numerous studies showing that with the exact same resume/qualifications but different names, employers pick the more "white" name significantly more. You literally can't refute this fact.

To me the word lost its power a long time ago, even as a term of endearment. I ain't worried bout it, that **** wont have me losing no kind of sleep, best it be forgotten then used to spark automatic aggravation in black folks IMO.

I know a lot of white people, an I have close friends who are white. I have also worked jobs and had bosses who were white.

I also live in a majority white state. Never have I been called the "N" word by a white person in all my years living in CT.

With that said.....

And see that's where it becomes tough imo, like I've lived in the bay area and I don't remember ever hearing a white person scream the n word, but where I live in MPLS I have been to several concerts with white dudes rapping it like it makes their teeth white.
