Do you really care if white ppl use the "N-Word"

The same way black ppl use it towards each other without being disrespectful but rather showing love

Black people didn't hang and lynch each other, and only began to put their "spin" on the word after it was used for centuries during their government sanctioned slaughter.

A white person isn't "showing love" with that word they are either expressing hate or attempting to appropriate what they believe to be black culture.

I see no love.

... You feel sorry for white people because they'd be frowned upon for saying it?

Not really sure how you got that from my statement.

Can you clarify how you got to that conclusion?

Not trying to debate. Just want to clear it up.

Could you point out where I said that?

You said you don't feel the need to want to say it EVER I took that as you saying you haven't EVER said it. It should be open for everyone to say, just know what comes with it when used disrespectfully.

So 7mile you cool with white dudes calling you _ as long as it's with the A at the end?

Man you don't have to keep bring up lynchings and **** like we don't know the history, That really happened. But it's not gone change the past by forbidding ppl from saying *****. What's the point?

Wat about fat joe.

Or ninjahood.

Yeah.......why is this subject to only white people when Mexicans, Asians and all sort of other races use the N-word in the same fashion.

Immigrating to the BX that's just how it was, whatever race you were, if you're from that neighborhood you speak that language. Didn't bother me until I left NY and folks were doing it, didn't feel right when it stood out. I used to have an issue with a dude who became my best friend over his usage, but got to knew him and was more real than anyone. Big white dude that was in the streets and got his *** whooped daily as a kid in predominantly black Baltimore because they thought he was a cop until he bucked back.

If I'm gonna keep it real...

When it comes to "-ga" Imma say something. If it continues then it's time to go, I'm not about to get expelled or catch a case over some white dude trying to be edgy. White dudes don't usually say it around me though.

White chicks are another story though, they will say it and see no problem with it and yeah I'm definitely not about to catch an assault case on a white female. I'll just dip. Or they'll ask me if I care, I guess to make conversation and I'll be like nah don't say that **** around me and change the subject.

It sounds so forced and corny when white people say that ****.

A lot of brothers be skinning and grinning with them good ol boys letting it rock. You usually set the tone of whether or not they feel comfortable saying it around you...

You can tell when someone is trying to be disrespectful and when someone is just trying too hard to be cool.

As far as "-ger", the situation is probably already heated enough to where someone is already throwing hands by the time he has the audacity and lack of dambs to let that come out his mouth.

This why I can only go to white functions a minimum of four deep in case of foolishness.

To answer the question, yes I care.

Im from the deep south, you never know if they're trying to be cool, or they're just trying to slide it by just to say they said it in front of black people.

Im not cool with either of those situations do I dont let it fly at all.

I do have to as you obviously don't UNDERSTAND the history or you wouldn't think this was an option IMO.

I'm not forbidding anyone from doing anything but people should know, not everyone feels like you do, and some black men are going to punch you in the mouth for that ****.

I also don't put myself in situations to be around white people thinking it's ok to say, by no means am I out patrolling the streets looking for white guys to go off on, BUT you toss that **** out in my presence and I'm checking you.

I don't have this issue with my white friends tho, as they aren't ******* idiots.

By da looks of this thread, some of ya would've stole on white folks for rappin da lyrics to NWA in concert...

If it's a concert I'm not expecting them to self censor themselves like a robot if they are a fan.

It's always funny to see white people get nervous about saying it though at parties and when you're in the car with them.

I get it. Product of your surroundings. I still think there are so many other ways to express yourself without using the world and still inflict the same messages. White people or any race for that matter really just don't need to say the N-word. There is so much lingo for people to use from bro, blood, cuz, homie, yo, son, god, etc.

I was born and raised in Oakland in predominantly black neighborhoods and black schools. As a youngin I didnt say it because it didn't feel right, even when people gave me the "pass" to say it.

But after being around it for 20 years and being referred to as "*****" in the context of showing love as their brother or good friend, it started to come out around my brothers and I never heard a peep about it.

It still comes out from time to time whenever im around my people, but outside of that and rapping 2pac in the car, it stays dormant.

Not gonna lie, I feel uncomfortable when I hear people who grew up in non black suburbs use it so loosely.
