Racist Commercial Asia China Detergent - Black Man - Qiaobi 俏比

Damn....that was brazen [emoji]129296[/emoji]

Asian culture so foreign & eccentric to me thou i cant expect to understand their cultural reasoning.

Its all good thou, Bugs Bunny & Captain America got stray shots at em.

Its racist. But... it's not institutional racism. Ever hear a black person be harassed by cop or public official because of being black?

Asians get some brunt of racism like everyone, so I just see it as firing shots back. Plus, there's no history of slavery between blacks and east asians. So this is light hearted racism. Just like this:

on the bright side the video clip + ps has potential to be the go to gif for washed NBA players

Americans, black people included, make fun of asians all the time.... mocking their accent, talking about their "manhood", calling every asian a chinese person with no regards for what their real nationality is, etc etc

this commercial doesn't bother me... **** was kinda funny how they gave no damns

I mean...I know they don't know any better.

I'm sure they're aware o race issues to a point but probably not as much as we like to think.

All these police shooting don't make headlines in international news.

This doesn't bother me. I just think it's stupid

How much did they pay this dude ? He probably thought it was funny *shrug*

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You do realize that the only reason you think everything views as racist is done in malice is because you live in Anerica. Bruh you really think them folks sitting over thinks about how much they can't stand black folks? Racism stems from ignorance fam. Who is over there to educate and check them on it?

I'm not saying there isn't any racism in the rest of the world, but it's not to the extent the US wants you to believe.

Doesn't make it right though.

It's like this in a lot of countries outside the U.S. I've heard about disco parties in Germany where "performers" paint themselves in black face. Also there's a handful of K-Pop bands who paint themselves in black face and perform in black stereotypes. I can't say I know much about institutional racism or racism in general outside of the U.S. but it is appalling to see these behaviors regardless.

And "not knowing any better" is never a valid excuse, frankly.

Happens all the time, especially the way Asians have been portrayed in the media.

Although if you're specifically talking about black people, I don't recall any instances of blacks attacking Asians like that

Seriously? Why would there be hate?

You really believe the entire world hates black people don't you?

Another trick to make sure your black *** don't leave the plantation.

There a simply concept here. Even simpler than racism.

Light things get dark when they're dirty.

It's honestly that simple. It's perception that makes it more.

apparently this ad is a straight ripoff of da Italian ad 9 years prior.

im almost confident asians dont understand da contextual implications of bootlegging da OG premise of da Italian ad & mixing up da race dynamics.

white to black doesn't carry da same stigma as black to white, im sure they dont understand that.

How about when Chris Rock made fun of Asians and Jews during the Oscars?
