Do you follow any unspoken rules?

I was in the bathroom using a urinal today and some dude walks up and starts using the urinal right next to me even though there were other ones open.

It's obviously an unspoken rule that if you don't HAVE to use the one right next to another dude, you don't.

Do y'all follow any unspoken rules? Or are there any unspoken rules you don't believe in following? (Like said dude above)

That urinal thing is a good one

- Always hold doors for people within range
- Never send back food, unless absolutely necessary
- Over tip or regular tip, almost never under tip
- Never talk politics no matter the situation
- Never argue about money with friends, will take the L if I have to (rarely happens)
- Never recline seat on airplane

What's your rule on which arm rest is yours in the theater?

I always assue the right one

Speaking of urinals, I absolutely hate when I walk into a bathroom and there's no little wall separating them. The worst is when there's just a trough filled with ice. So uncivilized.

I recently went to the atm in the morning before the bank was even open and there was a line of cars near the door. Apparently people are too scared to just wait in-line at the bank to use the atm. I give no dambs and walk in.

They aren't scared, they just don't feel like STANDING in line. But I would have done the same thing you did

One that I just remembered that I HAVE to get more people to know about is not standing close behind people at cash registers.. like back tf off man before I turn around and clock you in the jaw. Trynna see my PIN and s***. :smh:

Explain this one. What if you get piss poor service?

It must be my area, It's very rare that I get piss poor service. That's why I wrote "almost never." I don't have real high standards though for being served, unlike some people in my groups who want to act like Kings and get offended by the littlest things.

Agree with the first couple post in this thread.

Treat others the way you want to be treated - im a pretty nice guy in person, I get my inner troll out on here

If you can get it for free, get it for free (excluding physically stealing)

Get it how you live, as long as it doesn't intentionally or unintentionally place others in harms way

Never walk into someones house without acknowledging the owner

All I can think of rn

It'd be faster for them if they were already waiting inside instead of seeing people like me keep walking in and using the machine before them. I'll see 3-4 cars lined up.

I agree, but most can't see past the moment. The only thing they are thinking about is not having to stand up

Basically what ryguy said.

Also if I have a problem with you I'll come to you like a man and talk about it. I'm not telling on you to your boss, calling the city or talking bad about you behind your back etc. Let's just sort it out and be cool.

My approach to this is 'first come, first serve." It's not my problem you showed up late and cant use an armrest lol.

never assume da next person holds da same set of values as you do, cuz you'll be ****** thinking someone is held by da same playbook of morals as you do.

Is this a real thing? People waiting in their car instead of just waiting in line inside the bank?

- if i show u a picture on my phone or vice versa.....no swiping.

- shotgun is only called if the vehicle is in sight
shotgun is also a responsibility. ..not a privilege

-never assume private conversations will stay private

-dont put your bag on an empty seat on a train or bus

- if its your console. ...youre player 1

- if u know em....nod up......dont know em....nod down.

I hold the door for everyone.. However if you're lagging it or don't acknowledge me holding the door for you specifically.. I'll close the door right in your face..

^Was just writing about that ha

- Hold the door for somebody that's close to behind you

- On the flip side, if the door is held for you, at least say 'Thanks'

- At an elevator/train/bus, let the people get out first, then go in

- It's cool if you're 'briefly' texting on your phone at the movies within reason. Don't od with it.

- From Curb Your Enthusiasm - if you got people waiting in line behind you at the ice cream shop, 1-2, maybe 3 samples at most. After that, just pick a flavor

Shotgun is called upon confirmation of the trip
