Why won't proxies work on my bot?

Not sure if this is allow but if y'all can help answer this, it'd be great.
I was using proxies from starproxies and when I run my task, it says that it's unable to connect to the server. But when I remove the proxies and search with my regular ip, I almost instantly cop what I'm trying to get.
So why aren't the proxies working correctly?

your proxies a) might need to be site specifc, or b) the server you are using proxy might have been banned by whatever site you are copping from.

Check with the provider and test first
