My homeboy came to visit DC from Philly, my frat brothers were at a college female friends house, I didnt wanna go, but just wanted to show my homeboy good time. When I got there I see her sitting on the couch, thought she was cute or w/e and thought the bruhs already shot their shot.

Everybody got into a discussion about future goals, and I was talking about moving to Dubai to teach, and they were asking me about a Plan B, and I said aint no plan Bs over here. She says that's what made her interested in me, that I had my mind set on something.

We all went to the club that night, got her number. The next day she asked if I wanted to go to brunch, we all went to brunch, and 4 months later she became my girl.

Nah I didnt... she went with me to the interview in NYC for it... ended up not getting the job through that company, but got job offers from others.. kind of got nervous about going over there by myself, and leaving my family behind.
 
Met my wife in law school in 2006. Same section, so we had all of our classes together. My in was offering gum to her and a mutual friend everyday. Didn't make my move til the end of the school year

A year after we were official, I knocked her up and put a ring on it. 8 years and another kid later, we're still together, and pretty happy.

I think I may have posted that under the wrong post. I had multiple tabs open with posts quoted and I put the wrong thing for that one. :lol: Got me out here looking like scum bag Stan and schift.
 
How did the dynamics change for you guys once you both moved in together? Do/Did you regret moving in together?
 
I went to high school with her, but we never really talked. During college she added me on Myspace and i slide in the DM's.

It's going to be 10 years this October.

She been sleeping over since we first started dating. So it wasn't any different when we moved in together. IMO don't get married before living with the person. You'll see how they really are while living together.

The bold is the most important thing ever. U gotta live with somebody first before u think their perfect and wanna be there forever. U learn EVERYTHING about them and they really can't hide anything. U see how responsible with bills they are
 
What about the Christians that SAY God doesn't want you shacking up before you get married?
 
Through Twitter back in 2014. I had been seeing her RTs for a pinch and was seeing some hilarious stuff. She was cute and I liked how her **** looked pushed up in her avy. Camped out in mentions for a bit, hit up the DMs and we discovered we damn near live in the same neighborhood. After some phone talks we go on a date maybe two weeks later. Boom, still here
