Gorilla shot after 4yr old falls in enclosure VOL.....RIP HARAMBE

All the zoo keeper's had to do was throw on any Troy Ave song ever made and watch every single animal in there fall asleep in seconds, hop in grab the kid and bring him to safety. Immediately discard the CD somewhere (Not in the trash because that would be disrespectful to trash. As we know trash can actually be recycled into other things, this man's music can't) and watch all the Rilla's wake up like "They finally turned that cornball ***** off?"

R.I.P. to the SBG. It's unfortunate a bullet got to him before doublemesh96 could.

its interesting how this thread has everyone going at the parents and showing no mercy while the Troy ave thread has people making excuses for parents...

So you would rather watch your own child get ripped apart?
You're gonna jump your big dumb Billy Bad *** down there and watch your own child get ripped apart in 1080p HD.

He might not see the small 4 year old as a threat but he will definitely see the grown *** man squaring up as a problem bruh. If the zoo keepers who deal with these animals and know how they act tell me to be calm and the gorrilla will be chill, then I'mma chill so my son can survive rather than thinking I'm gonna whip a whole entire gorilla's *** and for sure killing me and my son.

I'm confused. I thought they said there was a moot around the enclosure, meaning even the animals couldn't get right up to the end of the wall line. Here at my zoo, for many exhibits, if you try that, you're falling down into a cement moot that even animals cant get to. That doesn't seem to be the case here at all.
Did you even watch the video?

In all seriousness, is there any logical explanation as to why or how these parents let / mistakingly let their kid get into this enclosure?

Two possible situations.
1.) they stopped watching the kid and he got in there somehow, with enough time to figure out a way to get in.
2.) they let him in and showed him how.

Either way, s*** parents. There's no good answer to "how did this happen" because if you just watched and controlled your damn offspring this wouldn't happen. THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE NICE THINGS.

Killing the animal is dumb. I understand it's what needed to be done in reality. We need to create better non lethal means to subdue animals. The disconnect we have from nature is disappointing. They killed the lions that attacked the suicidal man who provoked the lions as well. :smh:

The parent who let the child fall should be held accountable for their negligence.

Killing the animals isn't dumb at all. It was the fastest most safe way to get the person out of thee. If your point is animals shouldn't be in zoos, that's probably right. But that aside, what other way is there to save the human life

We all know zoos aren't closing shop anytime soon.
2016 and the best we can do is bullets?
Should be fair game once you're in their home.

Natural selection should have played its course.

That child gonna grow up to have offspring now.

Cats is wild harsh on the parents.
Not tryna justify their actions but very little info is known to try to put their head on a spike.

all da headlines ive read care more bout da gorilla than da parents  :smh:

Do yall think that it being a primate adds another aspect?

Like if the kid fell into an enclosure with a ****** tiger or lion and they killed it....understood no problem.
Or if he fell in a tank with a great white....harpoon in the head....story mite not eem make it to cnn.

But being as we are closely related to primates do u think there is more empathy there.

i know if he fell in a pit with a komodo dragon and they shot it i wouldnt give a ****

I still feel like i care more that its a primate.....endagered or not.
Maybe that goes without saying tho im just wondering.

Im not sayin a gorillas life is more important tho.

A bear for ex. I wouldn't care as much.

Sounds like ur saying you only have sympathy for those like you. Slippery slope.

Im just talking about animals.

Because a gorilla has more in common with humans this bothers me "more"

Dont get me wrong tho im not one of those animals>humans people.
U have to save the human. Just a freak accident.

Im not trying to troll but i feel like if i were religous id feel the same way about a bear...lion...shark....gorilla.

Again im not peta or nothin im just sayin i think it being a primate adds to sum of those peoples anger instinctively.

I dunno if im explainin that clear tho
