black president / black politicians/ black owned banks/ black owned business/ black colleges/ no segregation/ blacks dominating the entertainment industry/ black millionaires/ black CEO's of fortune 500's / blacks in space/ black holidays >>>>>>>>>>>>> anything on social media or sensationalized tv stories

for every dumb racist instagram comment there's 3 more positive/uniting comments that people dont pay attention to or screenshot like you just did.

Its actually flipped if you step back and think of it, 60 years ago you were VILIFIED if you performed an act of kindness or showed compassion to a person of color, might be disowned by your family, loose your "social" favor all that....

Now acts of kindness are SO COMMON to each other its the norm, we VILIFY acts of racism because they are so appalling, archaic and shocking now.

Cmon fam, wake up.

you looking at the glass half empty.

While the UFC was hosting an event in Denver on Saturday night, mixed martial arts' biggest draw, Conor McGregor, was holding court in Manchester, England.

Called "An Experience with The Notorious Conor McGregor," the UFC champion sat down for a wide-ranging interview with MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani in front of a live audience both in person and online, and he addressed questions about his past, his present and whether his future features a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"That fight is being more than explored -- that fight has been in the works for a while now," McGregor said. "It's a fight the people want, it's the fight I want."

Questions about the reality of a McGregor-Mayweather fight dominated the live interview, with McGregor saying he believes the fight "will happen by the end of this year or early next year."

UFC president Dana White recently made a public offer of $25 million each to McGregor and Mayweather; however, that's not enough money to get the deal done, according to McGregor.

"I'm happy an offer was made, we're getting there," McGregor said. "... We're moving up. It's still not there yet, but it's closing in on it."

"If [the] Manny [Pacquiao] and Floyd [fight] did half a billion, this is a billion dollar fight," McGregor explained. "People gotta pay for it."

"I got my eyes on one thing and that's Floyd Mayweather," said Conor McGregor, pictured at UFC 205. Jason Silva/Zuma Press/Icon Sportswire
A former world champion boxer in multiple weight classes, Mayweather (49-0) is unlikely to be moved by the offer. He made a guaranteed purse of $100 million to fight Pacquiao in May 2015 in what remains the richest fight in boxing history. His most recent purse, to fight Andre Berto in September 2015, was a guaranteed $32 million.

McGregor (21-3) is the UFC lightweight champion. He hasn't fought since he won the UFC's 155-pound title by knocking out Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in November.

McGregor said that while the fight presents several logistical challenges, including settling on a fight discipline, making the bout happen is his primary focus ahead of any possible UFC fight.

"The next time I fight I will step through the ropes with ... gloves on," McGregor said, while noting that none of the possible fighters on the horizon (Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre) are enticing him to get back into the Octagon anytime soon.

"I got my eyes on one thing and that's Floyd Mayweather," McGregor said.

A more certain project on McGregor's mind is his pending fatherhood.

The 28-year-old Irishman said his first child -- a boy -- is due in the coming months. And while he maintains the prospect of being a dad has him "crapping in my jock," he's certain his boy will follow in his footsteps.

"The only time my records are going to be broken is by my own spawn," McGregor said before adding, "I'm going be training that child out the womb."

One step closer to this happening. Major obstacle is getting Connor cleared by the NSAC after he got fined that crazy amount for his actions during the presser with Diaz. It does seem like both guys want this to happen though

Took almost a decade to get two boxers (Floyd & Pac) in the same ring, but just a few months to get this done. Good to know.

Haha sad aint it

Major difference being Floyd has no threat of losing

No shots at Floyd at all, it's just the truth in terms of what Conor offers. Conor offers an easy pay day with no threat of winning. Makes it much easier to make in that regard. Getting Dana White on board is another story though

If people wanna pay $60 + to see an unbeaten boxer wash a nonboxer then good for them. Sports media people trying to hype it up this fight like we're supposed to be excited because they're both loudmouths.

Not once have I connected race to this potential fight. DC reaching

bomani jones has been saying it'll tear this country apart. Or at least give white and black people another reason to yell at each other.

Floyd is only downplaying it right now because he wants to be the one to announce the fight officially. The same issue happened with PAC there was even debate over who's name would be first in the title between the two. I'm confident this will happen , but Floyd has always been a bit of a control freak when it comes to his fights.

Not surprised in the slightest that NT is playing the race card again.

Funny considering it's an Irish dude, but w/e. Let them do their thing.

Just heard Bomani bring up the Great White Hype example like I did. He know.

Dana white was on HQ last week and said Mcgregor owes the UFC 6 fights...his contract stipulates he can't do wrestling, boxing, any combat sports with out ufc approval.

has this hurdle been cleared?
