In your opinion, what are fashion mistakes made by men/women ? VOL....2016

My UNC 1's are really the only basketball sneaker I rock with jeans anymore

My Nike Free Mercurial's are probably my fav sneaker to rock causally

Retro Jordans ain't basketball shoes anymore. It's 2016 yall ain't need to play in 20 year old technology

Retro XII on asphalt/outdoor courts >

I'm guilty of a bunch of these :smh:

I still wear fitteds
I still wear socks/slides outside the house
I occasionally wear cargo shorts
My jerseys are probably a size too big

It is what it is though. Only two things that irk me are girls in those high waisted jeans and dudes rocking gear from two different teams.

pelle pelle leathers

man buns

when you try to look exactly like kanye

being fat

one personal rule I have for myself is NO GRAPHIC TEE's (exceptions: souvenir/travel tees, concert tees, favorite sports team (maybe)

no branding, designs, phrases

I think the biggest thing I'm seeing as a fashion mistake is trying to be somebody else. Following the trend is never cool

Also reading some of these responses makes me think about how much it sucks when your style becomes the popular style.

- over age 20 wearing joggers on a weekday looks hella bummy.
- wearing hoop shorts in public.
- men wearing jeans. (high quality chinos and cords only for me.)
- loud/immature sneakers.
- trying to dress like kanye when you live in a small town and/or you're broke. stop trying so hard.
- vineyard vines shirts with corny, long shorts that go to the kneecap. if you go that preppy route, shorts should be 9 inch inseam, MAX
d fuq is a 9 inch inseam?
Hoop shorts?
What if you live in a large town, is that ok?
What is a mature sneaker?
So over age 20 no joggers to the gym on weekdays?
Issue with men wearing jeans?
Gay?
Please answer all questions

Biker jeans are wack in general IMO

Never saw the appeal.

Supreme

I really don't understand the worship for this brand

I've always felt Supreme was overhyped. To me, there isn't a difference between Supreme, Diamond Supply, Primative, etc.

basketball sneakers when you're not playing basketball.

Stop it. Jordan 1s can be pulled off with slim jeans easily.

As far as the white sock thing, I will forever be team white socks. I own black ones too, but a fresh pair of white crew length Nike socks :nthat:

Imo sometime too fitted is whack. Slim jeans are the smallest I go. I'm 6'0 190, ain't no skinny jeans ***

I agree that sneakers shouldn't be the main focal point of your fit. Simple shirt shorts(cargo too depending on the day) and runners are all I need. I think dudes try to hard in general with the fits. Wear what you like, what fits your body type, and roll. I stopped following trends back in the chain wallet dipset era

I owned one Supreme tee I bought back in 2004, I used it to clean my car and it was faded and had stains

decided to see how sheepish people were and tossed it on eBay, sold for like $27

edit: found it

The funny thing about this thread is you would assume everyone in this thread is a good dresser lol but it is def not the case. Gotta take these suggestions with a grain of salt

for gods sake those stupid all red shoes...kanye got over them but the kids still havent

But they're kids though, but I get it. Down here where I'm at I hate seeing Sperry's/shorts/ and tall socks.
