.

Did you watch TA this season defensively? He was good but not great.

It was the same case for PG13 as well.
this guy gets it

Cavs in 6. Channing Frye signing will prove to be invaluable. Spread the floor. 3 ball threat from all 5 positions. Lebby/Kyrie killing the paint. The slander stops this year.

Channing Frye is basically Love 2.0

Youre telling me that even with a small ball lineup of both of them in the game, they will be able to play d effectively? Thats food for the Dubs.

OKC is the ONLY team in the league that could do this. To push the Warriors around, you need to be able to switch on everything and bother the shooters with size. The Cavs cannot do this when Thompson, Mozgov, and Frye are on the court.
You are correct, which is why the Cavs only real shot is simply making as many if not more 3's than the GSW. Then GSW has to go cold...

They have to continue to hit 3's w/the volume and efficiency that they've been doing throughout the playoffs which is unlikely, especially without homecourt.

I just don't see it for the Cavs (or any team really)

All of the best teams in the league (cavs included) as currently constructed have major flaws that ultimately stop them from having a real shot at beating GSW.

GSW in 5, maybe 6.

I guess I'm the only person that thinks Frye is decent on defense? Not that he can stay in front of Curry (who can?)...

if GS is only like +2 or +3 on 3PM than cle than cavs have a real good chance but honestly who believes that would happen lol

and exceptional hall monitoring Ska
Don't know if you meant this sarcastically or not, but I repped you anyways.

I truly wish the group could be like this FB sports group I'm in. Dudes know sports, for sure, but it's the same rules that apply for FB. Profanity everywhere, which is actually my comfort zone.

It was a couple dudes all kinds of hurt from OKC losing yesterday, and they got LIT... UP. Why? Because they were trying to light people up, all in their feelings, cussing every other word about Jordan ain't *asterisks* and Kobe's *censored* self was just a sidekick but OKC truly has 2 Supermen, and what GSW does is *profanity*boi basketball.

I love it. Those that think we moderate this forum according to our OWN values have it all the way twisted; we moderate according to how NIKETALK is run, not according to how WE run. This ain't my forum, but I love it here, too. And these halls need to be kept clean for those that are trying to talk Finals and Finals history and Finals possibilities beginning Thursday.

*grabs broom and heads back a few pages*

Statistically he really isn't that bad.  His defensive rating is about 98 which is actually better than Lebrons at 103.

Should be a joy to watch Kyrie trying to play defense against that backcourt this series

I think you'll be surprised
I don't think we'll be surprised at all. Kyrie has never been known as anything close to an elite defender, and now he's going to be forced to figure out Klay/Steph?!

He'll have more than a few highlights with his dribbling, absolutely... but him and Delly about to get...

All very valid points.

Another thing we HAVE to consider is the glaring issue on the defensive end for Kevin Love and Channing Frye. I don't care how much of an offensive boost he gives the Cavs, if the Warriors continuously put him in screen rolls situations all game long, it's going to collapse whatever Clev tries to do.

Draymond Green is going to kill it this series. Hell, that stupid weak side post Love goes into plays right into the hands of Green. Dray is going to force that fool into the help defense or make him take those awful fade aways on the baseline. Kevin Love will probably get his from the corner 3-ball, but that's pretty much it. Unless he suddenly man's up overnight and plays out of his mind for a series without home court advantage.

I guess I'm the only person that thinks Frye is decent on defense? Not that he can stay in front of Curry (who can?)...

Under what merits? Who has he had to really guard when he's been on the court this post season?

Channing Frye was NEVER a good individual defender and NEVER will be. He doesn't have the lateral quickness or nose for the ball that's needed.
