Anyone who can't readily admit that last year's finals team was a bunch of reserves vs. a well-put-together team, you're just hating. Period.

Like that question should be one of the prerequisite questions to determine whether you're a hater or truly unbiased.

Last year's Finals was like watching a sheep being led to slaughter. Yes, the 'needs more help' line gets tired, but it absolutely applies to last year. C'mon.

Except it didn't come out until after they lost 3 straight. When they were up 2-1, that wasn't the narrative. Steph was getting "locked up by Delly" and Bron was doing whatever he wanted, Tristan Thompson was "earning" a max deal with his defense and rebounding, and Mosgov was beasting. Wasn't until after that the help thing came up, as it does every single time Bron loses, as it definitely will for sure happen this time as well.
please no one thought the cavs were gonna win... the warriors were gonna start hitting shots and when they did it was over

DAMN LIE!

Stephen A, Barkley, Greene, several others said Cavs in 6. The disrespect.
I don't think anyone is saying the lebron not having help argument was invalid last year.  We all know 2 of their top 3 players were out.
You new here? There are definitely people saying exactly that.

But their hate can't allow their mind to acknowledge that.

"Dur, dur, 2-1, tho!" Like Cleveland didn't empty their damn clip when it was tied 1-1.
cavs maxed out on effort with that squad. the fact that they won 2 gms was amazing.
As an unbiased fan, the truth of what you just said was so clear.

B-b-but... but they were up 2-1!!

Keep that mess in the haters thread, because that's every it is, whether it's admitted or not.

This is absolutely false. I'm not going to look for the thread right now, but there were a sizable contingent that had the Cavs winning that series after going up 2-1. Even FF was ready to unload his manifesto.

I remember that the Cavs looked in complete control going up 2-1. It was to the point where GS felt they had to make a desperate move and shake up their lineup. It just so happened that the shake up worked.

Clevelands D is alot more solid than OKCs was.
Is it fair to say Lebron will be the best defensive player on the floor?

These two posts made me laugh.
Why..stat wise Cleveland is ranked 4th this post season..My team OKC was ranked 9th..Holding opponents to 94pts per game while OKC holds theirs to 101pts per game. Stats dont lie bruh..jus saying.
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/team/_/stat/team-comparison-per-game/sort/avgPointsOpponent

Lol you're not holding teams to 94 ppg playing the Spurs and GS
Not saying that.. Just said that their D is more solid.. And stats don't lie. If OKC had great D.. They would've been able to hold leads this post season as well as the regular season despite playin hero ball. They did play the best teams thou cuz SA and GS are great offense teams. I based what I said off off stats alone.

Go ahead and look through that thread...you'll find a few of the more notable anti-LeBron guys on here being the ones pushing those role players:

There was no shakeup. Klay was off that Finals and Curry wasn't moving around as usual.

I doubt that repeats this time around. GS is much better than last year and so is Klay and Curry.

Again Ska. You're making assumptions based on what I was explaining. I didn't trick my mind into anything, I'm just telling you how it went down on here. I know they were short handed, especially after game 1. I didn't care, nor care to hear Bron needed more help when there were still people on here and elsewhere picking CLE to win that series, even after Kyrie went down, and especially after they went up 2-1. Initially picked GS in 5 last year before the series, and after they went down 2-1 said they'd win the next 3 games.

Klay got his eyes set on Las Vegas celebration part II.

In reality, the Okc series was a large wake up call and has GSW starting to play their game the way they did all season heading into the finals versus that slop they showed in games 1-4.

Hope Livingston finds his game, he hasn't seemed himself since playing big minutes in round 1 (i think it was).

Dray just needs to keep his focus and not roam too far off Love, less open shots against the Cavs than OKc would be nice.

What do you mean? They took Bogut out of the rotation and started Iggy.

Just because some random people picked them to win isn't a legitimate reason to overlook context of things that happened in the series. People pick teams to win for reasons all the time that aren't related to actual basketball reasons not because they are actually most likely to win or look like the best team.

Lebby haters big up the role players... then say later, "Oh, EVERYONE was talking about Tristan's max deal" and "Delly locked Steph up!"

Like I've said, some of y'all just don't know how to take your hate/love blinders off and be fair, and the thread suffers from your stubbornness.

Comparing these 2 teams too last years teams makes no sense different years different teams..I go by eye test in the last 2 series ECF and Wcf..Dubs showed heart mental toughness..Cavs showed lack of killer instinct to a inferior injured Toronto team they should have swept instead of letting them get 2-2..yes Toronto back court caught fire but isn't that what the WS do..

Yea, Klay all but disappeared last year and Steph wasn't who he is now, which is damn near a master at getting open. Delly was effective for about 2 games on Steph w/ the aggressiveness but once Steph started moving more, Delly couldn't get aggressive like he wanted to and played himself out of the game.

What GS lacks in the bigs that OKC had, they make up in their consistency which I would take over the athletic bigs OKC has.

Only way for Cle to win this series would be to shoo the lights out from beyond 3.

Another factor that hasn't been mentioned is the coaching staff. Kerr is tested, Lue isn't. If things don't look good for Cle by game 4, LeBron will put on his Jackie Moon jersey

Are you reading what you want to read?

I'd be shocked if Clev wins this series.

I said Warriros in 5 last night to a buddy of mine, but I can see them taking it in 6.

Nothing sweeter than seeing Clevelanders watching another team win a championship on their court.

Everybody was shocked when Cleveland went up 2-1 last year. That Cleveland team emptied the tank. Nobody thought Cleveland was in complete control lead by Lebron and Delly. Some of y'all gotta put that hater **** aside sometimes.

I really think Kevin Love will be xfactor in this series. Lebron and Kyrie will be themselves but Love doesn't always show up. He has to show up on offense for them to keep up with GS.

I'm both a critic and a fan of Bron.

You are ONLY one.

i think a big reason was that okc had length and strength to bother and lock up livingston's post game and mid-range game. waiters is hella underrated in his D and post D. dude should just switch up his game lol

Love does play an X-factor role in this series cause we are never really sure which Love will show up to contribute to the teams success. Will it be the Love people thought was a superstar or the Love that I think he is which is just a very good role-player, which isn't a bad thing really but they will need him to contribute much more considering he's one of the go to options on their squad. Lue and them have to figure out a way to get his game to travel on the road.
