Wasn't Lebbywinks taken in by some family for a bit of time after he missed countless days of school? Pretty crummy of him to not give them their props. But I guess the young single mother thing sounds way better.

Was he? Smh.

I hate him.

There is literally someone who has it worst than someone else in all walks of life.

If an single leg amputee runs a marathon are you going to poop poop it because a double amputee did it as well.

"Man other people are quadamputees and run marathons, you doing it while only losing a leg ain't ****"

That's exactly how you sound right now
Na Patna ... I can bet my left testicle if an amputee wins Marathon the last thing he want people focusing is on his leg. Just saying ....

You aren't even making a coherent argument.... the fact that James literally had a god given talent makes your argument stupid.

i thought it was about basketball but I see some people have some serious hate for lebron.....

LeBron should be the last dude to do this though.  I get you got one parent and all, but you're an only child, living in a (by some NBA player standards) not very dangerous city, and by the time you grew hair on your chest you were set and taken care of.
People like Ron Artest who seen people get killed or AI who lived in the hood know.
LeBron talking about having one parent when he was getting free mani-pedis from his coaches when he was 15 and being gifted things normal people could only dream of buying for themselves.
exactly ... again, is another example of how ******* dumb this cat could be. There are plenty of occasions when bringing this subject could be use and be acceptable world wide .... given the circumstances when Ali dies and he coming out and saying because of Ali I'm .... is just shameless ... you could plug any famous black figure amd he would of have said the same exact thing. Fax's.

Yes. And he does. Coach Dru is well taken care of, beyond his cushy job at St. V. Mr. Walker as well. His mom had her own issues. He can bring it up a million times as far as I'm concerned. He hit the genetic lotto but he's STILL blessed to have been given opportunity when he was and to not let his home life adversely affect his game. Hating on that is extremely corny regardless of who else has done it.

If you think LeBron James is only where he's at in life because of his god-given talent then let's just end this conversation

Yeah because he had a lot of amazing individuals in his life that cared about him and his talents.

Lebbywinks own words:
"Finally, when I was 9 years old, my mother made a supreme sacrifice. She decided that while she was figuring out how to get on her feet, I needed some stability in my life. I needed to stay in one place and experience the support and security that she had felt growing up in a big family. So she sent me to live with my pee-wee football team coach, “Big Frankie” Walker, and his family. She later said to me, “It was hard, but I knew it was not about me. It was about you. I had to put you first.”

I stayed with the Walkers for a year, and what a gift that was! I was in the same school all year, slept in the same bed all year, played on the same football team all year, and Big Frankie put me on my first basketball team. I saw my mom every weekend."

Yes. And he does. Coach Dru is well taken care of, beyond his cushy job at St. V. And gotta mom was strung out for a decent portion of his life. He can bring it up a million times as far as I'm concerned. Hating on that is extremely corny regardless of who else has done it
i have nothing bad to say about him outside of basketball.  i dont care about his personal life or upbringing. i saw nothing wrong with this quote on ali nor was it something that would make me want to slander him about .

So let me get this straight LeBron James didn't really work hard for anything as career and he has everything in his life to the people around him?

I consider myself the president of the Kobe Bryant Haters Club but the stuff that y'all are actually mad at Lebton for his insane to me

And just fyi, I'm not saying LeBron lied or anything but yall acting like he had the worst possible upbringing is a little outrageous. Dude was more than gifted many things in his later years, especially after middle school.

You're being way too emotional about this. You kept going on and on about how LeBron isn't supposed to be here because he was raised by a SINGLE mother when that wasn't entirely the case.

It's an amazing story and there are countless of other players in the NBA who have lived through that experience as well but we don't have to hear about it every few months. I think that is what is being argued by some.

No one is saying he shouldn't be proud of this fact but he doesn't have to go out of his way to keep dropping this tid bit of info. Especially when the majority of the time he does it usually after he has taken an L to evoke sympathy and that emotional response you are projecting right now.

No one is saying he had the worst possible upbringing of course there where and are people that had it worse there always are.

What we are doing is pointing out how stupid it is to hate on someone's not ideal upbringing.

God-given talent, HGH, and not enough help.

Lebron worked hard to get where he's at today

Entitled people just don't understand
that's why how many years later he doesn't have a decent jumper ... smh

Or post game
or handle
or free throw
or anything besides passing, blaming and offensive fouling

I've already seen that Lebron's legacy and place in the GOAT convo will always be divisive but you can't deny his impact on the generation of the NBA.

He's the most responsible for this explosion of interest in the NBA.
