Haven't played against the Warriors but picked them once online just to mess around. The Curry 3s are no joke. Once the game got out of hand, I started bombing off the dribble 40 foot 3s like nothing. Step backs from one step in front of the half court logo.

I need to play someone that picks them to see if it's really over powered. The guy gave me way too much space and wasn't trapping pick and rolls. Right now, I'm leaning towards no.

you can only get a +1 temp FT rating when you practice them in practice. Its a joke

im a ******* 65 overall FT 
 
Good thing Smoove posted that video because I didn't know anything about the freethrow drill. Hell I just randomly found out about the running up & down the court drill yesterday. 
 
Played few mycareer games on HOF to make VC last night

Is it just me or mycareer players keep getting doubled they get the ball every time? :x

Shot creator is awesome tho

my man good looks. I hope someone comes up with a list of things you get when you hang out with certain people. jackson ellis keeps hitting me up and so does melo but I always either have an event or team practice when they hit me up
 
Yea, the FT thing is a little stupid. Maybe they'll fix it in the patch.

I was thinking there would be higher caps for FT shooters in the game. My 6'8 shot creator shouldn't be AT BEST a 65 rated FT shooter. Capping it at around 75-78 (maybe even higher based on how much you practice) would've been realistic.

What makes it easy?

If I'm not getting an excellent release every time, the success rate of my FT's going in are 65%. This is even if I can get a good release on the shots with a full bar. It may be easy for the sharpshooters or guards.

I get perfect release 95% of the time it goes in everytime. Its not hard to get the release down. Im a pg sharp shooter tho

I'm a 6'8 shot creator

Eventually, I'm hoping to get the hang of it, but I'm not sure how likely it is to get an excellent release with a 65-68 rated FT shooter.
 
All the complaints I've seen about the game so far are that it's not easy enough in certain aspects :lol:

I'm enjoying this one, I don't even like MyPlayer usually but I've put some time into this year's.

My only issue is related to FT's. They're not a problem in a regular mycareer game as it is in Pro-Am when you need to knock them down. Most shot creators are at least 75% or better from the line in the real NBA. I just don't think its realistic to put a shot creator at a sub .700 % with no ability to improve it.

Weight, strength, etc. should have some effect, but my guy is only 225 :lol: I can understand if he was 6'8, 250-260 similar to Lebron.

I think people have an unrealistic perception of how often layups should go in.

That comes from decades of games spoiling us with super high, unrealistic layup %s

Im a shooter all i do is shoot mid range and 3s so yesterday i decided to drive and try layups i went like 5-8 seems alright too me
