After thinking about it, BBQ'd Fall-off-the-Bone Ribs are my #1 seed for grilled/smoked food...

I was having this debate with my bro in-law earlier today. Honestly, there's nothing better off the grill (or smoked) than some over-the-top ribs. I'm talking fall off the bone, good. Yes, I'd take that over a steak, burger, chicken, etc.

No right or wrong answer, obviously  but what's your favorite?

No Hank Hill here, but depends on whether you're using Charcoal, "Sweet Lady Propane", and the type of wood chips and whether they're soaked in water or Jack Daniels.

Wish I had a grill or a smoker.  I've been making slow cooked bbq ribs in the dutch oven recently and they've been coming out amazing.

Pulled pork, brisket, ribs...it's all good.  I don't think I have a clear-cut favorite.

Good point...but what do you say?

Best ribs you've ever had, prepared the way you'd prefer....

Best steak you've ever had, prepared the way you'd prefer as well...

Pick one

My neighbor hooked us up the other day w/ the ribs, that's why me and my bro were talking about it today. Don't know what I'm doing, but I think I'm going to buy a smoker within the next couple of weeks.

I'm tellin' you...my neighbor will be out there putting meat in the smoker at 5-6am...if you leave your windows cracked, the heavenly smell permeates throughout the crib, and the drool starts up shortly there after

I think my new spot has some grills, might cop some pimento wood and do some jerk. Might have to fight off the neighbors.

Smoked Brisket or Burgers from a charcoal grill, I like ribs, but kinda need a break from ribs for now.

I love those fall of the bone ribs the best. Those chewy ribs are pretty good too but I can never get all of it off the bones.

i used to make baby back ribs with que saws a lot. like that was my go to thing.

now tho i just grill em up slow like with no sauce. i like tasting that animal meat. simple.

i like beef ribs too.

the bbq cook masters show is off the chain btw.

It's all trial and error.  You might mess up the first few times or they might not come out as well as you would have liked them too, but at the end of the day it's a good excuse to chill out, crack open some beers, invite some friends over, and shoot the **** all day.

It's gonna be a good time no matter what happens.

Beef short ribs smoked for the better part of a day are amazing. The fat melts and.. :smh:

Amazing. $$ though.

i'm burnt out on BBQ ribs, brisket, all that due to a life time of southern cooking.

i'm all about ny strip steak on the grill and homemade chimichurri from now on

.

Savage.
just a lil salt n pepper after.

sometimes i put adobo seasoning before.
Can't get down with that.  Even if you are going the minimalist direction you should always be seasoning your meat first.

Try out a nice dry rub of salt, pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and chili powder.  Thank me later.

Just bought a electric smoker last week off amazon. Been watching YouTube videos trying to figure out what the hell to do.

Been flourishing with my Traeger smoker the last few years. Put what you want to smoke in the Traegar in the morning and come home in the evening ready to eat :smokin. View media item 2057351

Had the green egg looking smoker before the Traegar and it was ok

i have nothing against vegetarians at all.

but when i bite into a nice slow cooked tender rib mane......

how can that not taste good to a human.

Hard choice but as crazy as it may sound I think I'd take the bacon cheeseburger the way I like it on the grill with the special sauce over the bbq ribs the way I like them.

Shockingly, a steak the way I love it with the seasoning I love comes in 3rd (been eating more steak these last few months). Chicken; thigh, wings, tenders, w/e the way I like it come in 4th but that's only cuz I still haven't mastered the chicken to my satisfication. I'm talking it taste so good it's like somebody else cooked it for you good.

Gonna make some ribs next weekend though. Steak tomorrow. Haven't had a burger in a while :smh: @ me.

If we just talking best I ever had eating out it goes: steak, chicken, burger, ribs.
