Tried on when picking up Royals. Agree with thapointguy thapointguy on most of his points. Looks clean on foot. Very comfortable once you get your foot in. Struggled more putting these on than PG1s for comparison sake. Upper is very nice, design on it pops. Kd9 like glove fit once on.

Was unable to tighten the strings enough to tuck them behind the band's near back of shoe so take that for what it's worth. Very cushiony once on foot and grip was very good on a HoH floor. Could see these being a great shoe to ball in and a nice casual shoe but not for 200 right now. Not even w swoosh.
 
They feel outstanding!!! True to size, and fits really snugg, without applying pressure on the foot

I think a guy on gonzaga is wearing them I might be wrong. These don't look basketball friendly at all but effort points for nike trying something new

That would be cool.  Always love to see any Kobes in the spotlight, keeping the line relevant.

You're not kidding.  I think the Infuriate is a better design, and that's pretty nondescript (KD-like).  And that's an $80 shoe.  If you replaced the air with zoom, and the mesh with Flyknit, obviously it would be substantially more.

Kobes have been nondescript and minimalist too, but it's what they did with it.  Stuff like Cloaks, Curials, etc.  The only ADs they are doing something with are the PEs.

This is a FANTASTIC shoe, performance and looks wise. Especially for a budget model.

Flyknit. Very soft flyknit. Much softer than 11 elite. And much better material than regular A.D. imo.

I might low key pick up a pair to ball in if they hit disco and I can add swoosh on top. Picking up a pair of PG1s to ball in but can easily see these being a good court performer in rotation and better if I can grab on the low.

Think this is gonna be the shoe that ppl clown u if it's on ur feet til u tell them to try em on and then they go 'oh wow'
 
i'm not sure what people dont like, they're fly af to me. Def want either the volt or greys. a black pair will be littly. Or some red ones. I wanna hoop in them. but they're pretty dope and casual enough looking to rock on some chill steeze

The turn will happen with MC flyknit just like every Kobe since the 9.

I like this new idea. Better than the boring stuff we've been getting for a while now.

My HOH had both of these in stock.

Picked up the grey pair. Very nice all around.

FYI, the Volt pair is coded as QS at FL while the grey pair is not.
Therefore, you should be able to use rewards for the grey pair, I did.

Also, from what I'm told my HOH only got 18 pairs of the Volts so they are pretty limited.

This design reminds me of the Jordan 2011 & 2012. All of them have that shell construction with a non-integrated inner-sole.

I've been wearing them this morning and have a few comments so far:

~sneaker is not so easy to get on
~traditional laces replaced by a pull tab lace system which locks them down.
~biggest surprise was the removable insole, see photos. It's Lunarlon with zoom in the heel.

Lastly, the bottom sole appears to have a different pattern as regular A.D, I'll post a side by side with my black pair so you can see the difference.
