thats what I noticed and i think that pinkish hue is why they seem to be sitting..
do you think these will be around in size 11 or 11.5 next week or so?
Ideally I want the time to shine kobe AD. If those don't release then my options would come down to these FTS kobes or a black based kobe iD. Want a nice black based AD.. but without any gold on it!!

I drove an hour to go pick those up yesterday. They had all sizes except for size 9, but they were selling pretty quick.

I got a good feeling they will be around. I cant officially say but I'm pretty sure you can get a pair online or in store in a week. These come out soon as well if you are looking for black based. You may have seen already but these are pretty nice imo.

I went to 3 outlets today (National Harbor, Arundel Mills, potomac Mills) , all three had these Navy AD's, and all three were 129.99 still
Almost copped with my 50 off MVP card, but then was like, wait, use it for something else, they will come down to 79.99 soon enough without having to use the MVP card.
Patience paid off, the third outlet had the Kobe XI Phillipines navy and gold for 79.99.

Yea I've got $100 gift card and should be receiving $10 survey. Not buying them at $129.99 when they're clearly priced $50 less elsewhere

surprised FTL and them having lowered them to the black/white prices yet. we know damn well they're sitting just as hard

Sitting harder imo. I've seen a few black and white pairs on court, launch colorway a few times too, but no navy's yet.
I copped the black and white when they were 79 at FTL, kicking myself for not doubling at 59.
My $79 pair came apart at the toe, sent them back to Nike for a 160 voucher.
Miss them as a versatile hoop shoe.

how easy is it to send shoes like these back to nike for vouchers? can't this be abused? like sending a ton of outlet or footlocker bought shoes back to nike for full retail value.. almost like getting a gift card with a big discount

you can only send so many, no one knows exact number but if you send 3-4 shoes in 6 or so months, you will most likely get a letter in the mail telling you they won't accept anymore shoes from you.
I haven't done it in forever but I also used to send all my kobes back in the day

ah.. some shoes would be crazy. like the lebron 12 pigalles.. you can find for $130 on ebay in some sizes. you could buy off ebay then return to nike for a $300 voucher? these vouchers work for shoes that are 2 years old at max rightyou can only send so many, no one knows exact number but if you send 3-4 shoes in 6 or so months, you will most likely get a letter in the mail telling you they won't accept anymore shoes from you.

2 years from production date and it has to be actual issues. they can deny if they think you purposely damaged the shoes.
had that happen to me twice, one on tech fleece pants that ripped at the draw string saying it happened because I did it on purpose LOL
another, I forgot the shoes they weren't that old and started separating badly from use at the toe and they denied me
don't know what affect it has on what but I wouldn't screw with nike if your trying to take advantage. use to be easy back in the day when kids were sending kicks back left and right but its not that easy anymore

idk about return policy, I know even footlocker can ding you since they take your ID everything you return something without receipt. not sure if they care if you have receipt since they won't need ID?
but referring more about the voucher thing since they do keep tracking, maybe people don't abuse it now or use it as much but there was multiple posts in the past with people getting letters

Tough call honestly. I really do like the fts but if your looking for a mostly black cw then the ones coming out next week is nice.
The Id could potentially be you best bet if you don't mind the extra cost though.

ive been playing around with iD.. with the black based upper dont know what to color the swoosh, logos, and outsole. don't want to do gold or silver and don't want to do blackout either since i could just buy the blackouts coming next week
you mean nikes policy where they let you return worn/used shoes within 30 days?
so they thought that you intentionally ripped the fleece pants/shoes?
what if its something like a little paint chipping off the shoes in certain areas? or some sort of creases in the midsole or something lol. you know the really nitpicky stuff
yeah currently i don't really have anything I even want to return but i was thinking about the voucher thing cuz some of these shoes on ebay are way under retail value. if they didn't have limits/checking on the voucher thing there's so many random nikes you can buy off ebay for way under retail..

I'm sure it can be abused, but I wouldn't recommend crying wolf too much. I purchase at least 20 pairs of nikes a year for personal use (work out daily), be it running shoes or hoops shoes, not counting retros and other shoes I get to wear casually and to work sometimes.
I'd say on average I get a pair a year that just has a defect like the sole comes apart with regular use, air bag pops, seam comes apart, etc.
I had a bad year this year, two pairs of Jordan 30's (black pair and launch color) came apart at the exact same flex points after hooping in each for about a week. Sent them back no problems. Kobe AD came apart at toe, sent them back. Didnt have any problems of any of my other shoes. And thats like 4 pairs of Kobe XI, numerous pegasus and vomeros, hyperdunks, jordan 31, etc. No problems, just a few isolated ones.
I don't really worry about getting denied, it's only in these cases of manufacturing defects that I send the shoes back. Good to know it's there, especially for us that purchase a ton of shoes every year.
