THE OFFICIAL NIKE KOBE FOOTWEAR THREAD: RIP LEGEND 1978-2020. MAMBA FOREVER | 3 Releases 4/13

Do you guys think an XDR rubber outsole will work just as well as the solid white rubber during in door court use?

Yes, I believe you will get similar traction. They may have a slightly different feel due to the different formulation used for the sole.

Thanks. Yea, I'm hoping the firmer rubber will prevent the tiny outrigger from rolling inwards as Jahronmon and Schwollo have noticed in their reviews.

The red pair looks really good in person.

I actually tried these on in store and first impressions are good.  Theres a decent balance between court feel and impact protection.  The shoe is very narrow and I have narrow feet - I also felt the shoe was quite long.  I'm going to go 0.5 size down.  I figured you don't want your foot to slide forward too much.

The upper is a little stiff near the ankle area but this should soften up after a few wears.

Traction seemed decent.  Got a few squeaks on the cement floor and i'm positive it'll bite on the hardwood.  A dusty floor is a dusty floor.. no shoe will bite.

Finally the 1-to-1 feel, fit and transition felt great.

One thing I didn't like was the slightly rounded laces, I think flat laces would give it a better lock down/secure fit.

Based on the initial impressions I think this shoe will be a decent pick up.  Depending on how Nike employ the FK it could be even better.

Strait after this I also tried the K3 again.. that shoe felt like plastic compared to the AD.

How narrow does it feel after sizing down? Is the length long like the Kobe 11's?

insoles can be from another shoe.

i'm just going off the trend that nike was doing for all the PEs. these look IDable where as the other PEs aren't.

The University Red colorway released today. Saw it in person when I picked up my foams.

Might pull the trigger on them tomorrow.

Great Job Nike give us fire options for the AD even though when shoe is a bad performer and probably the worst Kobe
Fire options?

I'm usually a 9 in most ball shoes, but I literally had a whole width of a thumb in between my big toe and the front of the shoe.

I tried the 8.5 and it felt better, probably half of a thumb width of room.  I usually wear double socks or thick socks so this would be perfect.

I'm gonna really drill into these shoes.  I'm still happy with the first impression.

I really think people should try it in store first and even cop if it's on sale or within budget.

Take the shoe reviews with a grain of salt.. or at least find reviewer who has a similar game to you..
