Who here can say they're an expert at something?

I know a lot about music and dinosaurs, but I wouldn't call myself an expert on either of those things

I've only got 1440 hours at my job, not expert status, not even close. But I do my job pretty damn good  I'm not trying to get 10,000 hours though at the job, it's not a career.

If it's digital I can probably get it for the 5-finger virus free.

2000+ hours at my current job and I learn something new about once every month or two.

Im only a T2 Network Technician tho

Do you know how long 10k hours is? I'm 32. From 12 to around 26 I was non stop every day. You do the math.
I have had these hypothetical conversations with my boys plenty of times.

I honestly don't think there is a consensus of how time is computed.

If I workout for an hour, does that hour count as 1 or does actual time exerting energy count.

The concept is so ambiguous.

Man you gettin to precise with this ****. Nobody can calculate the exact time by those standards

Like most women DC is an expert at nagging and nitpicking

I'm pretty sure I've got 10k hours of dribbling under my belt.
So you approximately have spent an hour and 20 minutes, per day, over the last 20 years just DRIBBLING.

Like, I honestly want to know how you come to this conclusion.

Especially something like dribbling is done in a sporadic manner when hooping.

Why shouldn't we nitpick a THEORY though?

That is what Malcolm Gladwell stated when the concept was created.

10000 hours of ACTUAL practice at something.

That is why I said from the jump, it all depends on how dudes are counting their hours.

If I spend 2 days at a basketball camp, am I calling that 48 hours of work?

Everything is about interpretation
