Ralph Lauren struggling?

An RL polo will always be classic. Cardigans, dress shirts, low key items.

Rappers ain't rapping about Polo anymore. Its not the thing to have anymore.

So obviously if its not poplar in current culture trends, its going to take a hit.

rappers run fashion now?

serious question

Hopefully RL's decline will lead to RRL having a 50% off sale.
Even then, it'd still be slightly overpriced.

Very sad to see this. I thought Ralph Lauren was going to stand the test of time just like the other high end brands that originated in Europe.

It does seem like celebrities and athletes have moved away from Ralph Lauren for whatever reason. Nothing lasts forever..

It's not going anywhere, same as Lacoste,Burberry ,Calvin Klein ,Tommy Hilfiger , Nautical etc . Might not be the flavor of the week but they not going anywhere.

I know several people laid off from the company in the past year. Sad.

FOR FACTS

I'm from the DMV and around Langley park or in the PG county areas, abercombie, American eagle and aeropostale is rocked HEAVILY by the Spanish communities.

and if tommy Hilfiger, nautica is still around I'm sure RL isn't going nowhere.

WALE don't give a funk about POLO

FOR FACTS

Wale is the embodiment of NT x KTT. But he was definitely on that "Ralph Folarin" persona for a while.

How are they dying when I see those golf hats everywhere. Damn young dudes telling me fitteds are old news.

Still rocked it, I don't even think snapbacks are that cool anymore honestly. Just see those ugly-*** golf hats everywhere. **** came out of nowhere. I'm not hating, just amazing seeing trends come and go. I feel like young people these days think hood looking attire isn't hip and designer, preppy attire reigns supreme.

Yeah that was more of an observational statement. I see those golf hats with all labels on it(study, supreme, HUF, etc.)

Good for you though man, I like when people follow their own lane. I feel like I'm doing that right now with bottom-ups(not dressy) and sneaker combo and now fitted I guess.

i feel like nobody is original

i mean yea we all have our "own style"

but unless you are Willow or Jaden Smith, an even those kids..................there are def plenty to be found just like that.

you/we just like everyone else far as I'm concerned

You've got a point. I take everything I like and observe and make it my own.

My style is casual, unassuming, and clean cut. Sneaks, bottom up, light shell jacket, jeans/chinos and I'm good. In fact, the trendiest thing I have is a high-collar zip hoodie,knitted-blacl hoodie, and a Koi all-print, short-sleeve bottom up.

No, but popular culture influences it. And rap is one of the biggest factors in popular culture right now.

It's all about dad hats now

It was all downhill once snapbacks overtook fitteds :smh:
