And no love for Great Steak Opee?

Penn Station had me thinking it was the train station in NY. Never heard of that chain.

If I had to select from that list, it would be Potbelly.

Almost all states have specialized sandwich spots, you have to hit those. Example: SUNdeVICH in DC,/Taylor Gourmet, Rubicon Deli in San Diego, Vietnamese banh mi in most cities is fire...etc

this is why trump will win.

Lmao

The Italian store in Arlington, Virginia is my favorite spot. But out that group I voted for Jersey Mike's. Potbelly 2.

Jersey Mikes is fire. Mikes way gets sloppy so you have to eat it within the first 4 minutes. It's just red wine vinegar and some spices but, it will make you go usher leave the one your with start a new relationship.

Just tried Jimmy John's "The Gargantuan". What an awful sandwich. Maybe I don't like meat or sandwiches, but this was a waste of $10. I feel like I could've went to Walmart and bought some Hormel cold cuts and made a better sandwich. Stick a fork in ol Jimmy. On to the next. I'm going hot pastrami at Jersey Mike's or Firehouse.

Any deli counter anywhere > sandwich chains

Of course bruh.

But man I can't find a good deli for the life of me. There are SOME grocery stores with their own deli counter (Whole Foods and Safeway) but they don't compare to actual brick and mortar delis.

Nothing like a turkey and Swiss on a poppy seed bagel or a fresh croissant.

Plus a black and white cookie or a chocolate chip muffin for desert.

Bodega sandwiches are life [emoji]128588[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji]
But we don't got none in LA
Lol

I don't trust bodega sammiches. I lived over many bodegas when I lived in NY and NJ and got to know and become close with several bodega owners and I found that bodegas aren't the most sanitary places.

For those in the D [M] V and know about continentals off of conneticut...they know whats up :nerd:

jersey mikes is def the upper echelon of sandwich chains and their price reflects it

Potbellys before they went public use to be so much better. Chicago is where they statred the OG on Lincoln was FLAMES. Now thier a bit watered down and on alomst ever corner.
Publics for that fresh as Boars Head meat:smokin:smokin, I'd grab 2 before heading on my way back up to Chicago. Fun times.

I'm gonna need y'all to have Silvermine Subs. Once you eat that, you will thank me. Ate their once, never had trash *** Jimmy Johns ever again.

We have almost all of these chains here and I've eaten at a good number of them.

subway - trash
Jimmy Johns - gets the job done, not my first choice though
PotBelly- overpriced for what you get
SilverMine - only had it once, not remarkable
Jersey Mikes - decent, overpriced though
Whole Foods - pricey, but some quality sandwiches

My favorite sandwiches are from a spot we have here called the 5th Street Deli. Roast beef and turkey with provolone and hot peppers. Matter of fact I'll have to visit them soon

Publix, Jersey Mikes, firehouse and John Smith

I rather Jimmy Johns over subway, but I usually stay away from both if the other options are available
