All that nonsense to the side, there was no purpose to ask what op's point was just because he's Asian. Often times the black community will ask for other races/ethnicities to take notice to the plight. Seems silly to berate them with snide comments when they do.
 
You right about the latter part. I watch the message & the messager though. Google is racist just like the rest of Amerivan surprise.
 
Specific to this instance, the way I see it is you can be pessimistic about racism, or you can appreciate when people of different races address it. The former doesn't help at all to detract the persistence of racism, while the latter can at least be thought to have an impact against the continuance. I go with the latter, but to each their own my g.

Unless you have any insight on how to change googles pictures, all that will happen here is people will call others "sws" and question criminal cases that they know little about.

Is google a SWS? No.

Google is a search engine. It finds information relevant to the keywords used in a search.

That information comes from our society. There is more negative imagery associated with "black teens" as a whole, so thats what google finds and shows to you.

Google isn't racist, our society is. Google isn't racist for showing that, as unfair as this may seem to us.

A question: Are you comfortable with Google showing these results as the way they are (imo a reflection of society,) or would you feel better if they doctored searches to make things appear more politically correct?
