Saw them in person, looked very nice and I was happy with the quality.

Talking to some friends, everyone said they were getting them, I also quizzed the employees of the shop I use and most are getting them too.

Have a feeling these will sell better than most people realize.

you trippin, i love the shiny midsole, might be the best part to me, adds to them standing out, def glad that part isn't suede either, that's the first part to get tore up on the ogs

I salute you Red, you are one of a few true originals left. From the love of suade foams to the matchy matchy thing. Not to many ppl on this forum have the courage to step out side the box, like you do. Straight grown man status. Now those shiny midsoles, I'm good on that

I honestly don't see how of all the things to complain about the shiny midsole is the one, people ate up this crap

i guess everyone wanted more of this

where the mid is dull compared to the 3

and it's not so much courage as it's just who i am, and i refuse to let people dictate to me what looks good or doesnt
 
really guess these were crazy even more for for selling out in a wkend if i recall right well they didn't sit in my area that's for sure

dirty bred, grey toe and 3m come to mind as pairs that don't have suede midsoles but i could be remembering that wrong and i don't feel like doing the research

Yes you are correct, but I thought the 3m had suade. And yes I got the Barons on impulse and I'm glad I got them. I got the Gym red joints but the midsole is more matte and dull not shiny. And I got the grey toes and that midsole isn't looking like jeri curl juice spilled over it. But the black cats the shiny midsole is to much IMO, maybe they did it because of the 3m. But suade would look better on them, along with a leather toe box. Or a less shiny midsole

ok i will agree that a matte midsole would've looked better, but i do like how the shinyness catches the attention

I have em and love em and they def soldout in one weekend in the DMV.  Also I love the Black Cat 13's and I will be copping. the 3m is lovely and I am sucker for an all black shoe

mine just says the reserve has ended i swear the nike+ reserve system is the worst, idk if i even want the shoes anymore after this kinda teasing BS

I got a reserved pair, but not sure if I should get them. I kind of want to wait because I have a $20 off coupon from FL.

People just don't like shiny midsoles yeah right people don't like change these are fine and the leather toes would always crease in the first wear.

Of course they reserved these for me instead of the ones next week. :lol: So they're reserving them, but "selling out" in eight minutes
