Can anyone confirm if they change color out the box or does it have to rub off the shoe 1st to get the effect. I can't really tell from the in hand pics

They definitely change color out the box, like TRU chameleon effect. Some dude at FTL told me too layer color runs off with wear to expose another color, but not to sure on how much I believe this. Nothing has been posted on social media

I'm unconvinced about there being some under-layer on these as well.

The lack of support it still has even though a solid number of people have them in their hands already leads me to believe that it's just something someone pulled out of their *** and everyone ran with it while the people that could easily prove or disprove it don't want to possibly mess up the paint job for no reason.

All of that said, I'm a fan of these but I'm on the bench until April so I'll see if I can come back around for them.
