Air Jordan 6 "Hornets" To Release All-Star Weekend

Not the best look at it but the glossy areas of the midsole have a multicolor flake effect when hit with a flash. I watched it on a 4K tv and it's pretty pronounced. 3M behind the same holes as the og & '14 black infrareds too.

It doesn't rub off to anything?whats the point then? I was all for these... If it doesn't rub off to anything it's a pass pass. Why else would anyone stomach that weird green color?

Saw this vid earlier this evening and thought at least he tried. Asked about this possible effect some time ago.
Such an early pair, who knows if legit.
You just have to like the color effect to buy.
Repeat that these are like my air max 90 qs ultra moire from couple years back. They're cool, but will crease up like a mf.
 
For an All Star releasethis is pretty surprising.

Certainly nothing with the design/colors jumps out at me and makes me interested in buying these.
Will have to see more pairs and photos but I think this will more than likely be a punt, not too impressed.

ankle perforations are too small unless jordan messing with the 6 now
 
Y'all already know what the deal was when it comes to all star weekend and the crazy the mess but I didn't think they'd do it to some Jays. Has anybody noticed this trend by JB lately? Instead of them awful colorways that just used atrocious color blocking from the gentry era, JB has as of late been giving us wild and funky themes in general that aren't just wild color blocking wise. Think about the db series and how crazy those have gotten, dsm 1s, wings 12s, psny 12s, camo supreme 5s, slam dunk 6s, Marvin the Martian 7s, wool and suede 11s, Chinese New Year 13s, Ferrari 14s, etc.

Pairs themselves have been getting crazier and crazier. We don't just get wacky color blocking combos anymore like the Phoenix Suns 8s... nah. Today's JB would release Phoenix Suns 8s with an orange chenille and 3m tongue with a cracked suede upper to pay homage to Arizonas arid climate and desert terrain. :lol:

And I'm in on these. Will look nice next to my northern lights foams that came out last all star weekend. They also feature the green-blue gradient hue on the lace tips.

No way I buy these just off price principles. Dudes gone go crazy for these come allstar weekend tho. It rarely fails(JB all star drops).
