Unless I misheard him, in the sway interview he said he was 7 in the year 2000.... [emoji]129300[/emoji] that don't add up to 18 b

Gave a quick listen to Summer Songs 2, and a lot of the production is so damn good, and it's a shame it's getting completely wasted on this nursery rhyme peanut butter mouth shortness of breath *** dude.

He looks like he could be Mystikal's slightly autistic son. Aside from that yeah production is his god send.

Coach got this _ getting to that bag fr

Bro been on the road doing a crazy amount shows/festivals this whole year too

I really truly understand now why older folks say new music is trash.

I've become one of those old folks, and I'm not even old.

These kids coming out ain't making music for dudes almost in their 30s, I think that's where people get mixed up.

As we get older we just gotta accept that we aren't the target demographic anymore

I figured it out when my grandma was talking about how much she didn't like Big forever ago.

"Why they gotta curse so much?"

That is true, but like I mentioned in the breakfast club thread, current young rappers aren't making music for people past their own age group, while young dudes in the past were making music felt by every age group. And in a lot of cases right now, the target demographic of these younger rappers don't even like the music that is supposedly made for them

Oh yeah I agree. Your Tribes, your Outkasts, your Pharcydes etc. Dudes were in another stratosphere compared to the people coming out now.

We're long overdue for a resurgence of those kinda rappers. They were in it for the love of the culture but these dudes now openly admit they want the checks and nothing more.

I think the demo shifting from young black people to a wider all inclusive demo has a lot to do with it but that's probably for another thread.

Those type of artists are still out there, just gotta look 4 em.

TPAB won the most grammies last year and basically represents what you stated.

I don't like some artists saying the value money over the arts but they being be honest and I can't knock em for that

I think the problem is that the music is in a decadence. Big was 21 when he dropped Ready to Die. Mobb Deep were teenagers when Hell on Earth came out.

Fast forward to today, kids the same ages are making EXTREMELY young and immature sounding ****. So what happened in the past 20 years for this to be the case?
