u must've just got to NY

hello Time Square been infested with tourists & weirdos since prostitution & peepshows was da norm in da 70's- 90's
Yeah Times Square has ALWAYS been a cesspool....I feel dirty just walking through it....don't even understand why people literally go into hypothermia every New Years standing all day and night in the street to watch a ball drop....idiots looking like sitting ducks for a terrorist attack.
100% agreed. Times Square was cool when I was a teenager. All I get out of that place now is frustration, though.

The zoning makes sense. Especially the express lanes. This should have been done a while ago honestly.

I only step foot in Times Square when I need to walk through it to get somewhere.

lol I love times square. I love the energy and the life. I'm kind of a heathen though.

its ok for tourists who are just visiting...but for local New Yorkers? its prime days has long since passed...

Had to show 2 of my cousins around one year and took them to Times Square and they wanted to take a pic with Elmo. Girls were in their mid 20s at the time.

Told them:

"Nah that's not happening"

"But it's Elmo!"

"No it's not. It's a mexican man around the age of 30 in a filthy Elmo suit who charges for photos."

They ain't wanna take a pic after that

East NY and Queens are the only places I dislike more. Only go through when I'm coming off the train to go somewhere in the area.

Or if it's late, I'm tired and it's the nearest station. Usually I'd rather just walk to another one but desperate times and all.

Just lean in close and inhale. You can breathe in their scent, it's a free country.

Seen a bunch of these broads out there last summer, didn't think much of it.

Anyone complaining about them must not remember Times Square in the 80's-early 90's!
