Hundreds, to THOUSANDS of unread emails (notifications) on your phone's home screen...vol. why?

Email notifications of APPS that you use regularly are DUMB
 
I have over 900. Most are work related and have already been addressed on desk/laptop.

I'll do a purge once a month or so.

A lot of the emails pile up from companies sending marketing and coupon emails. I have my notifications setting to only show 1 on the home screen. Doesn't bother me much.

i set it so I can get notifications when I get a pm, quoted or tagged. All the other nonsense gets sent anyways
 
I just want notifications send to my phone from NT. Still havnt figured out how to do it.
 
Last week i got my email count from 1,500 to 184. Felt relieved haha.

This. I can't stand having notifications on my screen. :lol:

I know girls that make it a point to have madd unread texts. That's nothing but an ego booster. :smh:
