Transformers (5): The Last Knight - June 23, 2017

There hasnt been a live action film better than that 80s animated one with orson wells lol
FAX!

I saw the original trilogy of Bayformers in theaters since I am a huge G1/Tformers fan, but I learned my lesson. never again will I put money down to see his crap tier butchering of my childhood. Pirate only.

I'm not a big movie critic. Saw it last night. A lot of things going on. So much leading into the next movie. This is definately not the last one.it was ok from just a regular movie watcher perspective.

You win michael bay.

This time
Eff that dude lol.

I was over it after the 3rd one, and then he pissed all over Turtles producing it. My childhood looking like an SVU victim in a shower.

What's crazy is in 15-20 years, these Bayformers/BayTurtles will be what these kids will fondly look back on :smh:

I'm about to just make a playlist of 80's cartoons to play from 3pm-5pm and a 8am-11am on Saturday mornings for my kids

You have to. That was the golden age.

I'll see this once it's been pirated in HQ. Thought this movie had potential but after hearing all the negatives about it, I suppose I should have known better.

I remember when we got the teaser for the first Transformers and I was so hype. I have absolutely no desire to see this movie now. I already know what I'm getting with Michael Bay and I don't want any part of it anymore.

I hope that this franchise eventually gets re-booted by someone who cares about story telling and makes Transformers movies about actual Transformers.

I read that Prime is hardly even in this movie. Jazz gets killed in the first movie, Prime is killed in the 2nd, and he's hardly even in this one. Peter Cullen is just being wasted; at least he's getting paid though.

Was lucky to meet Cullen twice. years back at BotCon in Orlando. had him sign my MP Prime and Spotlight Prime comics, and then when they did the grand opening for the ride at Universal with Frank Welker. I told him he was the only reason I watched the ****** Bay movies and he hugged and said "thank you so much" haha.

voice is legendary.

Like I said, popcorn film at this point.

Crazy that he has this mass universe and hasn't built crap for it.

So many characters brought in and then taken out with no damn explanation. Ridiculous.

Haven't met Welker yet but I went to Botcon 2007 with my boys. As soon as we pulled up to the hotel, Peter Cullen was just standing outside about to smoke a cigarette and me and my boy jumped out the car and got some photos with him. That guy was so humble, he told use all the effort he puts into making his Prime voice and some other stories. Used that photo as my Myspace photo from that night on, need to check if Myspace profile still even exists

Cullen is a super humble dude. Really kind, very gracious. Like I said, when I met him I went out of my way to tell him that HE was the reason that I even messed with the Bayformers at all. Legit seemed moved that people cared and appreciated him that much. To me, that dude was a huge part of my childhood, When the movie came out in theaters when I was a kid, I have been told I cried when Prime died. Mind you I was like 2 or 3, but ever since any time I hear that "Roll Out!", goosebumps. If it is said by anyone else, it just doesn't have the same impact.

Welker was really cool too, even though he and Cullen were in a hurry since they were doing the opening day ribbon cutting for the ride. They both looked pretty somber since it wasn't too long after Latta had passed (VA for Starscream and Cobra Commander). Meeting/Seeing Spielberg was pretty dope too.

Seen it last night.
Seen all previous films. And i enjoyed watching them.

This movie was a lil bit diffrerent.
There is a whole lotta stuff going on.
This the first TF movie where the humor was HORRIBLE to me.

A joke every 3 mins for the first 1hour 45 mins. Only 5 were kinda funny.

Its a king arthur movie, invasion movie, transformers movie, history movie all jumbled together

Anytime the transformers are just chillin talking amongst each other is cringworthy.

The last 45 mins/final conflict was AMAZING to me. I was in my seat squirming around like "damn this is sooo freaking cool"

To me......to ME the best aspect of this movie is the invasion subplot. But that only takes place in the 3rd act. If they woulda just focused on this the whole time it woulda been really good. The cinematography for the 3rd act is beautiful and i would love to see it in virtual reality.

If they got rid of the jokes and start the movie at the last hour then damn id LOVE this. But man the dialogue was just trash. No the dialogue is lower than trash. Its the dirt that trash lays on. And ive never felt that strongly before.

But damn i loved the last 45 min tho.

I dont let reviewers sway my opinion but that DoubleToasted review was very accurate about the things i hated and the things i loved.

Theres a really good movie in there but its surrounded by garbage. Kinda like a fine chick with a bad body odor and a stank attitude.

Its kinda like they had a bunch of ideas after T4 and devided to keep ALL of the ideas for T5.

Also the word **** (poo) is said about 30 times lol
