adidas BOUNCE thread - AlphaBOUNCE, ProBOUNCE, ExplosiveBOUNCE, MadBOUNCE, etc...

I've been thinking about grabbing the Aramis print Alpha Bounces on eBay.  Have there been any known fakes of these made yet, or are we not there yet with the Alpha Bounces?
 
I copped the Core Black and Black/Purple pair and I'm very happy with the performance/aesthetic/price! These were my introduction into Adidas
 
Copped the Aramis pair from the FTL restock...I love these. I'm a size 14 and went TTS. There's a tiny bit more room in the toe than I prefer (these run long) but there's no heel slippage so we're good. I just ordered the black pair and grey pair as well. Very stable and I love the material on the upper. Two pairs with tax still cost less than the Jordan Vs coming out tomorrow.





 
 
Before I ordered my black pair, I noticed that FTL seems to be selling a different version than ADC. It looks like this was touched on earlier in the thread, but I thought I'd post this to help others out (credit to the OPs of the pics I'm borrowing from the thread):


B42744 - Core Black / Metallic Silver / Running White

Has the grey fade on the midsole, metallic silver branding at the heel, and a reddish-orange inner heel tab

B54189 - Black / White / Granite

Has an all-white midsole, white branding at the heel (FTL pics show black branding, but that's wrong), and a white inner heel tab.


I went with the ADC pair with the fade midsole and red hit at the heel. It's subtle, but I also prefer the metallic silver adidas logo over the white. The white pops a bit too much.

ADC currently only has them in women's sizes but I believe they'll be available in men's sizes as well. Regardless, they have up to an 11.5 so anyone who wears up to a men's 10.5 will be fine.
 
Yeah, I'll order womens no problem, but if they come in men's too, I'll wait...

I get the appeal but I just prefer them plain solid colorways like the ones releasing next year

I can agree with that also.

I'm just happy with the model in general also.

Performs well has great tech potential at a super affordable price.

Can def. be worn casually and used for running, etc.
 
Actually, the Adidas outlets are full of running shoes with Bounce tech that nobody wants :lol:

In the end it comes down to how the shoe looks, just like UB selling out but any other running shoes with Boost just sits on sales racks.
