If you take the shoe for what it is, yes it's comfy. But if you compare to boost then nah, nowhere near it.

I prefer the alpha bounce to the UB anyday.
UB's bottom out and feel too squishy after a while. I like the firmness and the way the AB hugs your foot.
UB's cage design might be too tight in the top of your foot, which makes you maybe go a half size up and then the shoe is too long.

I wrote this on reddit and I'll post here too. The hole bounce vs boost thing is stupid. Bounce and boost are 2 completely different kinds of comfort. Bounces is 10000x more responsive (bouncier) than boost is. kinda like bounce is a really thick slightly firmer dr shols material. While boost is less responsive it is more "cushiony" and soft than bounce is. It's not a matter of what's more comfortable than the other it's a matter of what an individual prefers. In the short term I prefer boost but for longer days I prefer bounce.

I like the UA apollos over the fortis becuz I prefer cushioning that is low and firmer compared to something soft and thick. have yet to wear my AB but I'll be looking forward to that.

Latest release date info I've heard on the tan Alphabounce is that they should release sometime during Spring 2017 for $110:

Sounds about right. What I mean is that CW is perfect for now. Theys should put it on a forged mesh version for the fall/winter.
