Do we have any MARIJUANA business men on NT?
With all these new laws being passed, legalizing recreational marijuana, a thought has been running through my mind, to get involved. See me, I got a hustlers ambition and I need a piece of that pie. And the fact that these laws are being passed right infront of our eyes, this can be a turning point in American history and make a lot of people rich.

Now I'm not gonna lie, I don't know too much about the laws, but I do know that recreational marijuana use is possibly on its way to being legalized in many jurisdictions in the near future. Who knows how long. But what I do know is that this will give me enough time to get my **** together.

Now as far as the business, I'm not talking about pushing the actual marijuana. I'm talking edibles. Open up a storefront/bakery type joint that sells these edibles. Cook up that oil, that butta and get the cupcakes, scones, and pastries popping off real right. I'm sure the idea has been thought of before, and I'm sure it exists in states where recreational use is legal (Colorado is the only one I think, right?). But with talks of it getting to Atlantic City, I'm ready to do my research, get these business loans popping, and open up shop OT and get the bread rolling in.

Thoughts?

Marijuana became legal here in Oregon last year, just a couple weeks ago on 6/2 dispensaries became able to sell edibles. I like the way you think but there is way more regulation then what it seems like you're aware of. There can only be pretty small amounts of THC in edibles, unless you actually have a medical card and can get the good stuff. Also the amount of dispensaries that have popped up is insane, there isn't any way all of them are going to stay in business. The good part to get into is if you can get your growers license. I know of some people that have gotten into that area and are making great money.
