Wrestling Thread July 11-18/WWE Live Draft July 19th/ WWE Champ is Who The Hell Knows

I've seen several things online where people are saying this is all a big work..It makes me laugh to think people are atupid enough to believe Vince would put his #2 face of the company next to a fake drug suspension just to advance a story line..

This is the same Vince McMahon who ran a death angle involving an exploding limo he was supposedly in.

And wanted an incest angle.

But you guys are talking about angles that took place years ago when WWE wasn't a publicly traded company..And back when his company wasn't getting coverage on ESPN..

But as serious as drug use, domestic violence, and concussions are being taken by the media now...I just don't see it being used as a storyline. It's a very poor look.

I still want to know if this suspension is from pre-WM 31 or a recent test failure.

How will WWE write out Reigns? Will they announce this on the start of Raw or Smackdown or will they do an injury angle?

The "casual" fan still probably has no idea he was suspended.

They love doing montages of all the big news outlets that pick up on anything wwe related. So maybe that plus the Reigns tweet. The reigns tweet makes it really unavoidable.

Roman Reigns is about to eating pins for the rest of the year. Too many news outlets have picked up this news for him to come back as The Guy.

Roman just got caught on cycle.
I'd imagine, on purpose due to him never getting over.

The dude is 260+ of muscles.
That literally only happens because of roids.

He might have popped for something else but to assume he is clean is the most naive thing ive ever heard.

I actually hate john cenas good guy act.
He's a drug addict pushing unreachable goals to kids.

He's like if rich piana and bostin loyd decided to do a kids channel.

Then there is vince.... you are really going to enforce these rules on your talent when you are injecting hella cc's of synthol into your 70 year old biceps?

Nah.

I dislike romans acting ability, I cant fault him for doing less drugs than his bosses

Thank you. Well said.

People are either stupid or not really thinking things through.
How often does the reason comes out from the WWE? Like will we know what he took that was a violation?
Not often.

I'm sure we'll know sooner rather than later. Too many inquiring minds on this one. Just gotta make sure you sift through what's real & what's fake (they still might want to protect him or themselves if it's something really bad).

If we're to assume the pre-WM 31 story is real, then we're not talking about a retroactive test failure here. This is definitely something recent.

Again, if that rumor is true, then you could imagine how pissed certain people would be with Roman for putting himself in a position where he would screw the main event of their biggest show. Vince has final say and makes a business decision, but has to deal with a furious Brock and all other ramifications of perceived special treatment for one of the boys. The hand chosen guy.

They delay his crowning for 1 year. Now WM32 comes along and they go full steam ahead with making him the face of the company.

They deal with negative fan reaction and work around it, they remain patient while USA ******* about ratings, they remain patient while house show sales & merch isn't drawing as much as they'd like with Roman at the top.

Contrary to smark belief, most of these things aren't Roman's fault, but it's naturally a byproduct for the spot he's in. Different responsibility for being #1 in this particular business.

And then he goes and blows it all again with another test failure. Any goodwill he's built up in 16 months goes to complete ****. The trust is gone, he's lost support from whichever higher-ups fought for him, the perception & narrative on Roman takes a turn for the worse.

They protect themselves again with the announcement, but everything changes this time around...
