the departure of bogut is gonna hurt this defense both in defending the paint and crashing the boards. frustrating as hell to see how many offensive rebounds the spurs had. this coupled with carless passing in the first half, the final result makes sense

nevertheless, loving KD's length. that dude can play the passing lanes so well

The only rotation that I think Kerr is comfortable with is the death lineup but he prefers to save that card until late in the game. Everything else is still a work in progress and thus both sides of the floor will be very inconsistent until he has his rotation set. Hopefully the staff figures that out sooner rather than later.

the defense was so nonchalant last night as well as the passing.

the dubs were too hollywood i think and started to believe in their own hype.

glad we got pimp slapped so we can get our heads out the stratosphere and see that teams aren't gonna roll over.

should we have kept bogut and got rid of iguodala instead?

p.s. - i'd rather see mcgee instead of verajao....

Watched halfway through the 3rd qtr and knocked out

Defense needs to improve. Pachulia needs to assert himself more and the bench needs production.

Awesome to see KD get his and Steph seems to be playing a lot smoother...But the defense needs to improve.

I'm sure some folks were losing their minds when they lost

I had no problem with the loss, of course defense was a big issue and the rebounding but that was to be expected especially when playing a team where the core has been together for the last 4+ seasons (excluding Aldridge of course)

I wasnt expecting us to win last night honestly as the rotations will need tweaking and our 2nd unit is really going to have to grow up big time, this isnt the same dubs team

even the Livingston nitch has been exploited as he just struggles to get his shot against length with his delayed release

all in all im looking forward to watching this team grow and to see where they are come March April

Well that was rough, I don't think anyone expected the opener to go that way - even the Spurs. But come to think of it, that's the way they like it - under the radar, no pub, just come in and take care of business.

Let's see what the record looks like after 15 games.

The main positive for me was that Curry looks engaged and 100% healthy and confident.

I think we all wanna see more McGee on the floor and less no more Varejao, but it goes back to Kerr and who he trusts more. For some reason, he loves Varejao.

Listening to Danny Leroux, his guest mentioned that the possibility of a perfect home record is now out the window so the temptation to push hard for it at the end of the season is gone now. So now, we can rest up heading into the playoffs. So there's that positive coming out of last night's game.

Yeah, pretty much. Maybe he feels comfortable with Andy since he's had more time with the team than Javale.

But Javale is the new fan favorite, we need to seem him get some PT.

Hopefully I can catch the game on Friday.

i agree, we also don't have the 'pressure' of going 24-0 too.

no need to panic gais, there are 81 more games to go....

^ Was that the gallery event that you had to reserve for? I should've went to that instead of the Under Armour Curry 3 event at Pier 35.

A lot of turnovers in the first half... no one shooting well besides KD and Steph.. I think Klay is expending a lot of energy on defense and hurting his offense.

On a positive note, KD getting to the line a lot and helping put the team in the bonus
