what nazlew said down below. Not Caucasian (obviously lol), just curious about this. Care to elaborate?
From what my homie who lives in Hawaii says, that area is pretty rough and is generally very anti-haole.
if you head to the west side and you're caucasian, only go as far as koolina resort/paradise cove.

Word. Mercury poisoning is worth it. Safeway has it cheap by the pound and it's quality stuff.
Shark's Cove for snorkeling, tide pools and jumping off rocks.
Laniakea Beach for turtles. They roll very deep at this beach lol.
Load up on spam musubis etc at Musubi Iyasume before driving to the other side of the island.
Maunawili Falls for a hike through the rainforest that ends at a waterfall where you can swim. The best kind of hike.
Dammit I'm craving Helena's and Leonards right now

Coming through with the list!! Thanks!! And with hurricane season, anything I should know or need to be worried about?
The trip is coming up in a couple weeks. I did have some questions on what to pack/wear everyday?
My idea is wearing swim shorts, a tank top, and sandals everyday, is that ideal?
I don't exactly know how often I'm going to make it back to the hotel and shower/change and stuff.
Any tips or things I should know about as I travel?
I figure as I go out, hit the beach, walk around, do stuff, etc all day long.
Do you guys bring spare clothes to change or just dry off in the sun.
I just know that it's humid af, but what about nights? Do I need pants?!
Humidity honestly wasn't all that bad. Was basically tank top/jersey + shorts every day.
We had some random, heavy, but quick rain here and there.
i hate how theres a lot of roaches everywhere lol
Skip Oahu and go to Maui.
