kinda knew this stupid and irrational thinking would be one of the motives for some people.

The ugly side of people are now (publicly and outspokenly) coming out. This is just getting sad. 
 
It's going to happen here in the U.S.. Once Trump wins, you know the hate crimes will increase exponentially.

I was surprised he got the damn nomination. He's republican but saying all those racist things and blatantly making up stuff and lying seemed to make him more popular than the other candidates.

The week before the referendum, a member of the british parliament was assassinated by a pro-Brexit dude in broad daylight. Stabbed multiple times and shot.

They're not going to be in the hood. They don't need to. That's not where the supermarkets, shopping malls, stadiums, movie theaters, and offices are. They'll wait for you to walk/drive by them and unleash their hate.

A Trump victory in November will legitimize the xenophobia that's been the fuel of his campaign.

They should have thought about that before they conquered half the world. The countries that have the most amount of what we can call non-natives in Europe are the ones that had huge colonial reaches like England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. If they didn't want people flocking to their country then they shouldn't have invaded and controlled others. Not to mention, when you have a successful economy everyone wants to flock to there to improve their own situation.

But of course this is how the 50+ voted, especially the ones who were drop-outs by age 16 who were like 70%+ voting for a Brexit.
