Balenciaga Arenas

Hey guys, long story short I was at my friends house and he got a new pair of Balenciaga arena highs, asked him where he got them etc and then he Mentions that they made him like more than an inch taller? And said they almost gave as much as timberlands? Like what...? He didn't look much taller... But He's only 5ft 6 so it's hard to tell when your looking down at him, anyways he was sure they made him like atleast an inch taller, I always assumed they were similar to some stan smiths in regards to the heel, question is... Do balenciaga arenas make you an inch taller or more? or if not how much taller are you in a pair of arenas? And if you own a pair whats your height with and without the arena's on? Thanks

They don't necessarily make you taller, but it feels that way because the shoes are so heavy. I have two pairs of the High tops that I rock and it feels like I'm standing on bricks. It's not going to be much of a difference when compared with retro Jordans like the 3s and 5s but now I'm used to wearing Ultra Boosts. nothing else feels the same to me .

Thanks for the info, yeah a lot of people tell me they have to put different insoles in them, are they really similar to the 3s in terms of the sole? And yeah I can't find anything that comes close to the ultra boosts in terms of comfort, but I do think there abit overrated.
