"I'd rather not even make the playoffs than lose in the Finals," James said after the Cavaliers' 105-97 loss Tuesday. "I would hurt a lot easier if I just didn't make the playoffs and didn't have a shot at it."

He will "get injured" during the playoffs and miss the Finals so he doesn't add another L to his Finals record.

No way he'd back down from challenging a GSW that had to add KD right? Dude would be immortal if he got to match up AND take them down.

If I'm being serious I think they make the finals and lose but if it's somewhat competitive he'd be cool with it. Agreed with the latter part of your post though, if it's a Cavs Warriors finals and he pulls it off.. There aren't enough superlatives to describe it.

Now, let's see if certain politicians are willing to take action.
 
I really enjoyed the ESPYs last night..I was especially impressed by the message from Dwade and co. I'm glad Lebron received male athlete of the yr as well. All around good show

Aye but forreal,

I prop Curry for being there and taking it like a Man. He has been owning up to it all off-season. Saying he didnt play well. No excuses.

Lebron would not have even showed up to the ESPYS if they lost the finals, he has done it before. And would of had 1 million excuses.
