2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

Dario Saric paid $460,000 out of pocket just to get out of his contract and play for the Sixers this year. He'll be in Philly this afternoon to sign his contract.

Why is Blake Griffin even IN trade discussions? I hope not over that fight with the staff member...

If this is true, Rudy Gay alone isn't enough of a return for Blake alone, I'm sorry.

It's time to blow up the Clippers and you'll get more value for Griffin. Rudy Gay though..... That's not the answer.

Pipe dream scenario is to trade Paul to the East so the East All Star team can roll out the banana boat bros on the court at once.

I say you just trade Paul, fill seats with Griffin and who cars what happens. You're not beating GSW anyways it's money time.

why they keep talkin about "spreading the wealth" when it comes to players?

if kd had decided to go to the bucks, nobody would praise his decision for the competitive balance it bring to the league

its all so fake and facetious

I agree. Trade Paul with hopes of either luring Wesbrook either by trade or FA signing to LA or simply acquiring younger talent via the draft........

Seriously.

The idea that ONE player can alter "competitive balance" is hilarious.

Rudy Gay is so trash doe

and Boston just added Al Horford, are they trying to replace him already?

Deep down KD probably doesn't even believe that he is a villain. He's saying because it seems like the thing to say. He's still a nice young man, he just likes saying villain, if Russ had left to join the Dubs, he would legit be a villain, but KD as a villain feels forced. In fact, KD feels bad about living the lie of being a villain, his shoes will go back to $88.

He should've just embraced it. Alas, too soft to handle the villain role. I'm disappointed.
Yup he can't embrace it, he's just saying it to make people feel sorry for him.

Bron embraced it his first year in Miami if I remember correctly
