2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

I like what Utah is doing but I think Portland is better right now. I'm not a huge fan of Lillard/McCollum backcourt because neither play defense and it's 2 small guards but the pieces they have seem to compliment each other pretty well.

Not a fan of Memphis dumping Joeger

Harkless $10M / yr
Turner $17.5M / yr
Crabbe $18.5M / yr
Leonard $10.3M / yr
Ezeli $7.4M/ yr

63.7M / yr invested in borderline starters/bench players

Top 4 seed

Looking like the grizzlies just handing money out to people who will never be allstars.

Memphis has 3 players that make more than $20 mil a year and only 1 is an all star. One of them is also Chandler Parsons.

Naw I was talking about borderline starters on a top 4 seed team.
Well my mistake.  Maybe we can take a look at how they performed 5 years ago in the playoffs to project how they do in the playoffs this year.

Bosh has always been better than Amare.

I'll never forget the first few months of the 10-11 season...when Bosh was adjusting to the heat, and Amare was laughing at Bosh..... Talking about Bosh shouldn't have been the first PF off the board in Free Agency.

I always thought Amare was a lil overrated.

Took me about a minute to figure it out, it was a long minute. I thought that was a reggae rapper at first and I was supposed to be looking for the dude in the back
