2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

count me as a Adams fan, but he still has a lot to prove before we start talking about him being a 2nd option. This is a big year for him

How are they not?

People have to stop spewing stupidity.

How come 2 guys that can average between 15-17ppg, proven to have big games and take over games not be considered good 3rd or 4th options? I've seen with my own eyes both players win games ON THEIR OWN several times (especially Conley). Stop spewing a bunch of dumb ****
So Parsons was a first or second option on Houston and Dallas?  Is parson going to be a first or second option on Memphis?

If not, shut the **** up.

Is conley even a top 10 point guard at this point in his career?

missed him in that playoff series vs the grizz in his rookie year?

or last year vs a 67 wins spurs team (this also applies to kanter) and vs a 73 wins warriors team

That's fine and dandy, but when you get the ball and realize your offense has turned several notches after losing Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka, then what? Your advantage is gone. Memphis will go 48 minutes of ugly basketball any day of the week, but what made you guys great was the fact that you had 2 damn superstars as well. If Adams and OKC want to grind out games, so be it. They're not going to beat us doing that.

The thing with Steven Adams is that he turned 23 two weeks ago, had an amazing playoffs and only a dummy would say he isn't primed to be a top 10 center in this league.

And arguing about the middle of the West is stupid. Honestly, discussing who is better out of the PDX/Hou/OKC/Mem/UTAH group is pointless cause its really just splitting hairs. None of those teams are 50 win teams imo. They all have major flaws and a signifcant injury to any major player on those teams and they are on the outside looking in playoffs wise.

he wont be the 2nd option offensively.. I agree that he is our 2nd best player..

but a couple guys are ahead of him as far as offensive importance goes

Playing with a bunch of other guys who like the ball in their hands (fournier/Payton).

Why do you pretend to be so obtuse?

How does Memphis become a non-50 win team when they came off a 55-win season prior to their injured riddle season? They won 42 games with 29 different players on the roster, yet people expect a possible 1 game improvement out of them WITH a healthy team and an improved roster.

People are led to believe that Memphis will only win about 42-43 games next year despite that being their win total with Lance Stephenson, Ryan Hollins and Zach Randolph leading the way.

Who gives a **** about the grizzlies.  No one wants to talk about them but you keep bringing them up like a broken record because you feel like they are being slighted.  They are going to win around 50 games and lose in the first or second round.  Who cares.

You are really throwing a tantrum about people expecting them to lose 8 games more than you think they will.

You ever wonder why your basketball opinion is never taken serious enough to be considered for anything on here?

Bum *** poster, the reason why the Grizz were brought up was due to other posters bringing them up every time i talked about OKC.

This is what I love about NT

How often have you seen a one man led team in the West with the majority of the players being average to below average win 50 games?

There will not be a single player outside of Westbrook coming close to making an all-star game and not even an All-Defensive team.
Neither is Conley or Parsons and yall just gave them a quarter Billi
:wow:

Thats because you catch all of the feels any time anything negative is said about the grizzlies.  Every god damn time.  You have gone on like 10 tangents about how the grizzles are being overlooked on here because people think they are going to win 43 games instead of 50.
