2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

He shouldn't shoot threes unless he works with a shooting coach (if he hasn't already) and makes changes to his form. His form on his midrange and his three point form aren't the same. He looks almost like a shot putter when he tries to shoot threes. The ball comes out of his hands all wrong.

81% of Klay's shots were assisted. That's a higher proportion than DeAndre Jordan.

Klay actually won't have to change anything about his game.

Nearly 60% of Durant's shots were assisted.

So he doesn't really have to do much changing either.

Where does one find these numbers? :nerd:

what's stopping a Grizzlies vs Knicks final? :nerd:

two 50+ win teams with star power.

Two super teams :pimp:

Searching for x player on NBA.com/stats then looking at his tracking.

I see this thread was pretty lit doe. Damn.

Oh and money's on Chris Paul winning MVP this upcoming season, health provided for LAC. You could make the argument that after steph last season, he was right there for the award. I feel like it's either CP's or LBJ's award this season.

Lol I don't know why it's funny thinking that they won't make it.

I don't like the makeup of OKC minus Ibaka and Durant. That thing could legit get ugly.
yeah I would put money they won't make it. Not that crazy of a bet.

Nope he won't get slandered. He's playing on house money this year.

I think Durant is right there with all those guys from MVP's...

I'm expecting GS to shatter offensive records this year.

Just like bron's first season in Miami, I don't think voters will look favorably to having 4 all stars on one team, with respect to the MVP unless they win like 70 games or something.

I'm thinking this too.

The coaching is outstanding & the talent is overwhelming and most importantly, it all fits. All three of their big scorers are comfortable being off the ball, especially Klay & Durant. With Westbrook's emergence, most of Durant's shots were assisted last year. And they play D.

I'm expecting them to click immediately & break 70. I think the gap between them & the 2nd best regular season team will too wide for KD not to get it.

I think KD works on his manifesto this year and goes out and plays out of his mind with the talent surrounding him.

Yeah his numbers won't be as big as he's use to, but it will be extremely efficient.

But Curry should be way up there too. People jumping off his bandwagon too quickly. Would you guys be stunned if he gets 10 assists per to go with 26 points per game? I wouldnt.
