I was at the yankee game last week and it was hot. Bought one of those barely sweet lemonades with half a lemon in it and it was refreshing as hell.

cookouts > *. when my boy used to have the july 4 jumpoff in cambria heights with fireworks on deck, the street was lit. so was the food. good times.
sweet tea is a good look so long as its not too sweet. tropicana is too sweet for me. typically tho, im cracking open a hoppy IPA at w.e cookout im at. i can get down with sides too. corn off the grill, potato salad, a good mixed green salad, collard greens (iceberg + romaine get out)...you need the fiber after all that meat or you will regret it lol.
i love good french fries but i've never seen that at any cookout. ever. where dey do dat at?
fresh shrimp is the move too. never had grilled crab but i just came from my boy's crab fest at his spot in maryland. he grabbed a couple bushles with old bey steamed crabs...
i don't put ketchup on burgers (maybe hotdogs, i ain't picky). burgers and bbq sauce go together like trump and racism. and foh with that kraft bbq sauce. way better options out there. burger buns better be the fresh seasame seed joints, and the bugers better have spices, uncured bacon and some respek on it.
chicken...hard to make good friend chicken i imagine, but idk if u can mess up grilled chicken. and that is a must.
NT cookout threads are comedy, if anything, going thru every page has made me hungry as hell
