2Pac & Stretch "Pain"

I think it had to deal with the amount of memory CD's had back then. Cassette sometimes had a side A and side B so they could put the song on them. Anyways that should have been the first song on the CD because it was a recurring theme throughout the movie.

Cassettes have more run time, because the label could do them in 60 or 90 minute.. Cassettes always have side A and side B.

Record labels often did bonus songs on one or the other. There was no rhyme or reason though. CD's cost more, so it was understandable to include additional songs on a CD. Back then CD's weren't at Best Buy for $9.99 or $10.99.

Seems like everyone in here knows the deal. Top 5 Pac song. The alternate version with additional background vocals is dope too. I think its the clean version

@sthebest  educated me on this a while back

Original Version:

Movie Version(remixed for the film by noted record producer, Isaias Gamboa):

The original version was rejected so Isaias Gamboa remixed it so it could be used

This song is unreal. Don't even know what to say about it. Always takes me back to the movie. Sad as **** he's gone.

Is the song on iTunes? I have it on my phone but I have no clue where I got it from now. I can't believe this song and Troublesome 96 wasn't on one of his official albums. I know it was on his Greatest Hits. How the hell was this not on his Greatest Hits?

And I always liked Ja's cover because the quality and how they did Pac's vocals at the end. Oh my.
