Not all of Lynwood is bad, nor is Compton.

And as reckless as the story sounds...it would've made the news.

I'm not trying to be a **** to the op but NT has a history of fake stories.

I'll gladly donate if we can confirm the story.

This is most likely what happened.  One of my neighbor's friend who always visited or came around was shot to death a few years ago. The reason?.....the shooter wanted to get respect from a local gang who wouldn't let him in until he "proved" himself. He was quoted as saying that he could have shot anyone walking down the street at that moment and it didn't matter if it was a kid or a pregnant woman.

It's 2016 an I find it hard to believe there was no news on this story. Simple as that.

I do find it a little strange there is no news article on a pregnant woman being paralyzed by a drive by shooting, this would be all over Twitter at the very least

edit: just noticed OP removed all the photos he posted, I am thinking this is a scam

Yeah man, if I'm to set up a gofund me, I will post as much info as possible to make sure those donating feel as comfortable as possible helping out, unfortunately gofundme has become a joke, not too long ago, some sloot from the Heights got people for about 15k when her "boyfriend" who eventually turned out to be her ex, set up a gofundme saying she was in critical condition and dying in a Dominican hospital after she was involved in a car accident....they painted this tragic story, the very next week dumb sloot is posting advertisement for clubs on her insta, then she posted selfies, no bruises, no broken bones, supposedly she has just one scar on her forehead which she covers with her bangs....people started to question her and this bird has the nerve to get mad....I just laugh from afar and so glad I have a keen sense for these scams to not be a part of them...I'm positive she was in fact involved in the accident, but the injuries were greatly exaggerated and they preyed on the good will of those that helped...she came off on 15k and I'm positive that money went to some plastic surgery....a month later when people were outraged dude that initially set up the gofundme tried sooooo bad to distance himself from the whole situation, it was hilarious.

they aren't negative comments man but when you post this in an open forum with requests for money, people are going to want to see a little more before just turning over their hard earned money

I still find it hard to believe there is not one little news blurb on this, I am just being real about the situation the way people abuse Gofundme these days
 
Sheriffs texting seems unprofessional to me.

And why wouldn't they reach out to the media to get help with answers.

Just the thought of the sheriffs dismissing your situation doesn't sit well with me.

What hospital did they take her to? 

St. Francis is near there...did they take her there?
