Looking for Affordable 3 Bedroom Apartment

I current live with my roommate in SW DC near the waterfront and we are looking to move into a 3 bed 2 bath apartment that is near DC meaning Metro accessible as we both go to school and work in DC. I am kind of familiar with most places in DC but not too familiar with NOVA or MD...been looking in the Hyattsville area. Price range is about 3k per month. Thanks in advance!
