How Did You Find NIKETALK???

think I was searching for the wu-tang dunks, lurked but didnt post till much later.

Used to post on Nicekicks when Nicekicks had a forum.. Used to chat on AIM with the mods there from time to time.

Then one of my homies told me about NT.. Said it's Better than Nicekicks and I can get all the new info on Jordan releases early.

Started lurking for a week, signed up, started posting. Got into Jordans heavy, but once I got out the game I got into General :nthat:

2001 I joined

But I was around during the Shox BB4/ Hyperflight/XVI era

I was looking for information on some CDP 18's back in 2008, signed up a little later and here I am today

Searching for the new jordan xi coming out. There was a whole forum here dedicated to the jordan xi at the time!

Homey from school told me like back in '05.

He and his friends still lurk.

And I joined not cuz of sneakers at all. I was sold on how wild General and the Music forum were at the time .

Same here almost. Cousin told me after I asked where I can find some cool J's. My first post was a legit check on a pair of fire red V's on eBay that were clearly fake . I remember my cuz posting for me "Are these real???????". General was what really caught me tho.

Met a handful of people throughout my life that go on here too. It's part of our identities at this point.

Been here for 10 years as of this month

My manager at the time was into collecting kicks as well. One day after work we get to talking and he recommended I check this site out.. This was back in like 06/07

Been a sneakerhead all my life back to when I was in 4th grade...Was back around 02-03...didnt know any better and copped some DS concord 11 and fire red 5's for a grand total of $120 from the africans on 28st and 6th ave (NYC) real street cats know what im talm bout...anywayz thought I was killing em and that i had found da plug..until I walked into this Video Store by my house and the owners were asians...one of their sons was a real sneaker head and saw my joints...but automatically knew they were fake pull me to the side and gave me a sermon(I already knew all about fake kicks but i legit thought these joints were good money...only stolen)...I was like how doe...teach me your ways...that led me to NT ..for some reason it would never let me become a member until it became easier about 3 years ago..lurked for a good 10+years always wanting to post lookin like dis :

Summer of 2001. I was looking for Jordan 17 prototype pictures. Cam across Neoprodigy.net, Jumpanst.com, and Kicksology.com. I was 14 years old, headed to 8th grade. EZBoard days :pimp:

Was looking for Oly 6's and found Kicksology.net. Still hands down some of the best sneaker photography on the net. From there, found NT in their Links section.

i was on boxden, hollafront, uptowns.net, SC before this. didnt really try to get on this because they would only accept once a month or something

In like 07...looking for Royal Blue Foamposites online in my area. It took me to the regional page. And that's where I lurked for a while.

Stumbled across general in 08...lurked heavy and soaked up so much game from the "Can I borrow you thread". Finally created an account in 2012 and started posting.

I want to say it was mentioned/linked on the ISS forums. I too remember it taking some time to figure out how to register.

Started looking up sneaker releases on 23isback and noticed that most of the pictures were tagged niketalk. Lurked for hella long before finally joining and lurking some more.

2008 was Google searching for information on all the CDPs that Jordan was dropping at the time and came across a thread here. Been lurking ever since but just recently created an account lol
